I had a far more serious issue two months ago. My water heater burst.... I heard a loud noise one late Friday afternoon and I walked into my garage to see water coming from the closet that houses my water heater, water softener and furnace. The heater had definitely burst and so I called Alltek for help. They guided me on the phone on what I needed to do to shut the water off to the heater and then someone came the next day. I obviously needed a new one. They could have installed a tank water heater that day but I decided to wait till they got a tankless in snd upgrade, just a few day wait. Once they got the tankless water heater, I had constant non-interrupted hot water. Didn't get it for a bad price either and it will eventually pay for itself in lower power and water bills. Service from Alltek cant be beat! They were there when my family needed them.

This all started at the time of installation. The crew performing the installation vented the refrigerant charge from my old system into a bucket of water instead of recovering or recycling as required by the Federal Clean Air Act EPA 608. I made a video on my cellphone and was planning to file a complaint with the EPA about the willful disregard of the regulation. I discussed this with their Service Manager and was asked not to do this. I agreed with him only if this incident was discussed with hie crew at their next meeting. My experience went downhill from here. I subscribe to their Planned Service Program and have received unsatisfactory experience. Only once in 6 visits has the technicion collected sufficient data to track any refrigerant leaks. The EPA 608 reqiires tracking the refrigerants used in home units from "cradle to grave". This means that any refrigerant added, lost or recovered must be reported. The visit in 2025 collected the baseline info for the first time. The visit this year was haphazard and nothing useful was recorded. I am not a satisfied customer of Alltek Plumbing and Heating

3 years ago we bought our home thinking it was our perfect dream. Unfortunately that was very short…read morelived. About every 6 months we have had to contact our home repair service. They have sent at least 4 different companies. Over the winter our furnace needed replaced. Mirons came and did a total replacement. They did amazing work. 3 months later yet again the system that handles the sewer completely stopped. After a lengthy argument with the insurance we were able to get Mirons to come. They explained how our very complex system works and how to maintain it. None of the previous workers had any idea how to service the system let alone how to explain the problem. I am so thankful for the knowledge and experience they bring to every issue we have had. I will use and highly recommend them for any and all plumbing or HVAC problems. They are miracle workers!

He set the temperature to my liking and even offered to do maintenance on my central air unit. He was in and out fairly quickly.

In the details I tell him I'm a 3rd shift worker and needed to schedule it early. on the day he finally responds he said he would be over that morning and kept me waiting all day. I need to be up by 5:30pm for work. I decided to try and get some sleep around 3pm. I've been a repeat customer, but never a valued customer. Each time he has kept me up waiting. He tells me he doesn't provide services he's already preformed for me. His work the prior year was probably the cause for my pipe bursting, but cannot verify that with certainty.

It was no problem when I asked to change the appointment window (two-hour window) and to reschedule my appointment for the next day. I spoke with several people during the scheduling process and all were extremely pleasant. Second, Patrick, the technician, showed up exactly as scheduled. He was extremely professional and gave me an estimate that I agreed to before he began the repair work. He successfully fixed a toilet, resolved a water pressure issue, and installed a new shower head. He also pointed out an issue that could require service in the future. I opted not to have it done immediately. I think the price was reasonable based upon work performed. I would recommend Mr Rooter and wouldn't hesitate to contact this business again.

Had a bad experience with this company. Toilet wasn't working so I scheduled them to come between 8…read moream and noon and they did not arrive until close to 1 pm. They then quoted us 750$ to use a camera and snake the main line. After not being able to get the camera or wire to work, they said they would take 250$ off the price, but I was still charged 700$ for nothing to be done. After charing me, they then send me the "quote" and invoice. The quote they sent us was for 1500$ and was to "replace the toilet and sink" which was never discussed. They then said to fix the problem they would have to take up the floor and it would be upwards of 7000$. They said they would send me a detailed quote/estimate for this project so we know exactly what needs done, and after emailing and texting/calling them for days I have gotten no response. Then we went downstairs (the bathroom is in the basement) and realized that they left a tarry substance that looked and smelled of feces all over our basement floor, bathroom floor, AND our washing machine. Do not use this company, they will do nothing and then scam you out of hundreds of dollars and leave your place worse off than when they came.
