After not hearing from them in a few weeks, I decided to call and was told they were keeping the money. I called back a few times and was given the same bogus reason that didn't make any sense. $600 is a lot of money to have stolen from you. Impossible to reach a PERSON to ask queries of or do on the fly transactions. When you call, you get a recording, telling you what the online options are, which is good. The recording says 1) either leave your phone number they will call back - NEVER happens, or 2) stay on the li e & your call will be answered on the order received. ALSO NEVER HAPPENS. Sometimes you need to speak with a person, not use the app or online banking! Did an experiment today and was ON HOLD FOR OVER THIRTY MINUTES before I hung up. IF YOU ARENT TAKING CALL REAL TIME OR HAVE NO I TENTION OF RETURNING CALLS PUT THAT ON YOUR RECORDING. Last week we transferred $XXX,000 OUT of our Del-One accounts to another credit union. Walking into Wells Fargo, finally, after having to make an appointment to ensure that my matters could be resolved, I expected the usual paperwork and policies, topped with the quiet hum of institutional indifference. Instead, I got an experience that was somehow genuinely excellent. The team was sharp, attentive, and refreshingly human! They managed to navigate the bank's famously rigid rules with a kind of grace that felt almost rebellious. Credit where it's due: while the system may still feel like it was designed by a committee of anxious lawyers and grifters, the people on the ground made it not only tolerable but also took care of each of my requests. A small miracle in a place not known for them.

I was not permitted to speak with anyone from the fraud unit (aside from Ryan - who really needs to get another job with a reputable CU). DFCU allowed a hacker to remove monies from our account. That's how poor their hack alerts or breach processes are. DFCU Fraud team (another invisible team member) was able to look into the past (apparently a "seer" or "Psychic") and see that one of the 3 of us, used the card to withdraw monies and therefore it couldn't be a fraudulent withdraw or 2 or 3. I explained all this to the Fraud Unit, and teller at the DFCU - as I went over the next business day to check on the dispute I filed the day before. Like the employees of DFCU I should have lied and made up a reason to get repeatedly fraudulent access to the account. You will do better sticking your funds in a mattress than banking with these fools. AVOID DFCU AT ALL COSTS!

Whether I'm making a payment or withdrawal, I have to make at least 45 minutes out of my schedule to get my transaction completed. I've spoken to the manager and the response is "it is what it is."
