My wife and I came across Bonnie Benson's Law Offices as a result of a google search. We called…read moremany of the bigger firms around the Rehobeth Beach, Delaware area looking for an attorney for settlement on a new construction home. We called 3 different firms and none of our calls were returned or no information was given about the prices and the services provided under the stated fees. On a Friday night around 6pm in December, I received a call from Bonnie Benson's office from Gabrielle informing us of their competitive prices. Later on the following week, we were asked to drop off our contract to the office for Bonnie to review (free of charge- unlike most). Bonnie heard that we were in the office and asked us to come back and she reviewed the contract right on the spot. Months later we are meeting with the builder and there were no issues with the settlement. As first time home builders and buyers, Bonnie explained all the forms to us in layman's terms, and the purpose of each. A week later we received a check that they had over charged us on a recording fee (don't know if many firms would return this money or pocket it). Bonnie Benson and her staff should be commended for a multitude of reasons. First being they work with the small person and take the time to answer EVERY question. Second, Bonnie and her staff are laid back and not pushy. Last but definitely not least, this law firm has what many bigger firms do not offer or show, which is INTEGRITY AND HONESTY. My husband and I scheduled our yearly tax appointment at 1pm and arrived before our scheduled time…read moreat 12:45pm. We had confirmed our appointment a week in advance. We were in the waiting room trying to check in and the people in front of us were a new walk in. They were scheduled with our tax pro at the time of our appointment and we were informed that we were late and they had already attempted to call us back. We were 15 minutes early and no one had tried to call us back or contact us during this time. when our tax pro came out to collect the walk-in she was told we had arrived late even though we were 15 minutes early. this is very poor service.
