Whether you're a beginner and just want to stick to the treadmill, or more advanced to take on the stair machine, there's something just for you. There's also a wide variety of weights. There are plenty of fixed machines to start slow and free weights to take it up a notch. Want to keep it simple? Check out the 30 minute circuit area for a short workout, or take advantage of the extra equipment for stretching and cooling down. They are very meticulous in keeping the gym clean. This makes a huge difference, because there is nothing worse than having dust bunnies moving around the cardio and weight equipment. There are both showers and changing rooms if you have somewhere to go right after. There are plenty of lockers, just remember to bring a lock for your items. The staff is always very friendly and willing to help. I also enjoy the atmosphere here. No one is going to try and socialize with you while you're working out (I'm trying to focus, please leave me alone!) unless it's someone you already know. I've had a lot of problems in the past at the YMCA with older men trying to be friendly, so it's really nice not having to worry about it at Planet Fitness. You can upgrade to the black card for extra benefits. I'll be honest, unless you want to visit multiple PF's around the area I would skip it. Everyone knows how dangerous tanning booths are and the water bed massage chairs aren't that life-changing. Either way, I think this gym is for everyone no matter what your skill level is.

The whole process from where to enter to the exit and everything in between was perfectly handled by the YMCA staff . They didn't miss a beat! All of the kids had about an hour and a half to swim before it was time to eat cupcakes and various snacks and watch the birthday boy opening presents. The YMCA didn't hold my daughter to an exact number of kids she could invite so there were quite a number in attendance. This was a super great experience and it's a great place for a birthday party!
