We had DJ Ryan for our wedding and he did a phenomenal job leading up to our wedding and on the actual wedding day. He answered all of our questions during the two pre-wedding calls that we had with him and knew all of the key moments in our schedule for the day. Ryan arrived on time to the venue and was able to transition quickly from our ceremony site to our reception location. He also wonderfully balanced confirming scheduled moments with us while also giving us space to enjoy the event and not feel like we were rushed or had to be on point throughout the day. The music was great - he did an amazing job catering to an audience with very different age ranges and tastes in music. One of our guests requested the chicken dance for our two nieces and we were worried it would fall flat with no one on the dance floor, but we were pleasantly surprised to see that most adults were having fun with it and it didn't seem like the song came out of nowhere. The music for the ceremony was also perfect and the two songs that we used for the processional transitioned seamlessly. Ryan also answered all of our emails promptly and we never felt like we were left with unanswered questions. This made us feel confident that he would be on time for our event and that everything would go smoothly. Ryan and his assistant were both really professional during the event. The set-up looked good and the dance floor lights were positioned at the right spots on the dance floor. Ryan also had a detailed list of our day and all of our music was played correctly and at the right times. We also had a semi-outdoor wedding in the countryside, which meant that there were bugs. Despite some of them flying around him while he was working, he handled everything professionally. We had a few last minute changes during the reception and Ryan handled everything smoothly. After we did our couple's entrance, we forgot to go straight into the cake cutting and Ryan came up to us immediately to remind us. We appreciated having him keep tabs in the schedule for the evening because there was so much going on and it was nice to know that someone would be there to help us. We absolutely loved our experience working with Dow Oaks for our wedding! We booked them for our ceremony and reception. We worked with Mason and he was awesome! Our music requests consisted of Spanish, Country, Pop, old and new. Mason really hit the mark making sure it was all played and that the flow didn't feel awkward! My husband and I did a lot of dancing and our guests had a great time, we got a lot of compliments! We loved that Mason scheduled meetings with us to discuss the music we liked and what we wanted to hear. Henry was a true professional for our wedding. The ceremony had to get underway ahead of the planned time due to rain, but the playlist was executed perfectly. Everything from the requested announcements to the microphones went flawless. Henry also orchestrated our introductions and wedding game with enthusiasm and skill. During the course of the event Henry would communicate with us to make sure everything was on track. Additionally, during the 8 months or so that we had DJ Henry booked, he was super responsive and would meet with us whenever we asked. When we needed to tweak the timeline to work with our photographer's timeline better, he unlocked our wedding planning documents so we could go ahead and change everything 2 nights before the actual wedding day!! We had the pleasure of having Kameron as our wedding DJ and she provided such a fantastic experience. About 15 minutes before our first dance I had concerns that it was way too long of a song and he said it wasn't a problem at all - so we shortened it on the fly!
