They also let us choose our own caterer which helped us save so much money. There are so many gorgeous locations for a ceremony, and the reception hall is spacious and filled with natural light! Once the Sun goes down, the entire venue transformed into a romantic dream with string lights draped all over! We also stayed overnight before the wedding and made use of the hot tub! It was so worth it to wake up the day of our wedding and already be there. I only give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the grounds aren't super disability-friendly and communication was a bit difficult and felt more confusing than it had to be, but still a lovely place worth the price!

As a newer venue, they really have come a long way. Over the past year and a half, they have added a lot of amenities! One of the main reasons we chose to have our wedding here, was the fact that they have a rain plan which came in handy on our wedding day. The covered pavilion is huge and the garage doors can be down or raised. There is a beautiful fireplace feature under the pavilion as well. The outdoor ceremony space under the big shade tree is beautiful and the stone paved aisle is a nice touch. They do have AC and heat inside the pavilion but the space is so large it takes a while to cool down. The house across the street is available to rent for the entire weekend which fit our needs perfectly. My girlfriends and I were able to spend the night together in the house before my wedding day. The house has been beautifully remodeled and decorated nicely. Another feature that drew us to Mayberry Meadows was the gorgeous and spacious getting ready spaces. The upstairs is where the girls get ready and there is a ton of natural light, a huge bathroom, a coffee bar, mini fridge, the list goes on. Downstairs is the "man cave" with a full kitchen, bar, pool table, darts, large TV. The guys absolutely loved hanging out in this space on our wedding day. There is a door that separates the two spaces which keeps privacy intact. The venue is about a 5 to 8 minute drive from hotels and this was a huge plus when considering transportation for our guests. Gina and her staff work around the clock to make sure everything is taken care of. I would definitely recommend booking your wedding at Mayberry Meadows!

My wife and I spent a long time shopping venues on assorted websites, and we must have toured well over a dozen before we walked into Winter Wood Farm. Let me tell you this - We had that "Wowww" (in Owen Wilson voice) moment as soon as we walked onto the property. Every other venue we looked at was "pretty good" and we could make a list of pros and cons for them, but we absolutely, unequivocally, undoubtedly knew that Winter Wood Farm was the place we wanted to start our marriage from our first tour. This is a family owned venue, and without listing names, I'll say every member of the family we interacted with was absolutely amazing. They were quick to answer questions, there for us when we needed suggestions and ideas, and eager to do anything necessary to make sure our day was magical. For the first-time wedding crowd (and my ONLY wedding, let's be clear!), they were wonderful in helping with checklists, suggested timelines, and asking questions we would have never even thought of. The venue itself is absolutely STUNNING. We got married in October and it really was a dream wedding. The colors were perfect, the weather turned out amazing, and it was all beautiful. The staff at Winter Wood did an amazing and seamless job when it came to arranging things like chairs, tables, and the arbor, being set up exactly as we asked. Clean up expectations were reasonable. Compared to many other venues we toured, they were very reasonable when it came to expectations from the bride and groom. One thing I specifically disliked at other venues was how many of them have multiple security cameras inside (and more than one told us "we'll be watching the cameras all night." How uncomfortable!) I'm all for security for your business, but this is also a very personal event and I don't want to be in someone's home movie. I was happy to see Winter Wood did not have a ton of cameras, and instead chose to have a staff member present on site at all times (which was great for everything from coordinating vendors to our random last minute questions!) You can certainly call me biased since this is where I got married, but I would absolutely not hesitate to recommend others seek this as a wedding venue. The experience between not only the location and the design of the venue but more importantly the wonderful staff who run it made this a perfect experience!

I had a truly amazing experience with Jamie at Through the Glass Photography's studio. Jamie is so down-to-earth, friendly, and genuine... and you feel that the moment you read an email from her. I connected with Jamie right away, even through email! She does a great job explaining the process and making me feel extremely comfortable with everything, which is of utmost importance for boudoir photos and the whole experience. She gave me great ideas for outfits, shoes, accessories, etc. I arrived the morning of my photo shoot at Jamie's studio and was greeted like an old friend that she had known for years. I instantly felt at ease despite reminding myself I was about to bare almost all of it for her and her camera. She did an amazing job on my hair and makeup and I felt beautiful, sexy, and absolutely radiant that morning. Jamie gave great instruction and knew exactly how to have me pose. Even when I was getting nervous again. She guided me every step, every motion, and every pose. That guidance was invaluable. About 10 days later was my reveal when I got to see my photos for the first time in the studio. To say I was blown away would be an understatement. I couldn't believe that was me in those photos! I'm crying as I write this! Jamie is an artist in the truest sense of the word. The photos were absolutely stunning. I thought maybe I'd just want a copy of a couple of my favorites... I was so wrong. I loved them all! Thankfully Jamie has products that met my need to have them all! Haha! I am so glad I had these photos taken. I hope to do this yearly... for myself. For my first love, Me. Jamie reminded me that I am so much more than what I was seeing in myself. (A worn out and tired new mom primarily, with a body I wasn't so comfortable in anymore or ever really.) She helped bring my confidence back. I look forward to our next shoot. I cannot imagine anyone but Jamie being behind the camera! Jamie, thank you so much for everything! You have reminded me of my worth with your gift. What you do is priceless.
