The first incident occurred on January 9, when this employee refused to serve me and escalated the situation by calling the police, despite me being calm and simply attempting to make a purchase. I later returned and was served without issue by different employees, confirming there was no legitimate ban or problem with my behavior. However, on January 11 at approximately 2:00 PM, I returned again and the same employee immediately refused to serve me and falsely stated that I am "banned from all locations." This has never been communicated by management, and I was served as recently as the day before by other staff. I simply said "Hi" before she made this statement. This employee is the only person who has ever treated me this way, and her actions are now interfering with my ability to shop at my neighborhood store. It's disappointing, especially because I would prefer to continue supporting this business rather than take my business elsewhere. I hope management addresses this issue, as the inconsistency and hostility from one staff member reflects poorly on an otherwise decent store.

I asked him a question about a tank I have and the coils for it and I guess it bothered him to stop watching TV to answer my question. I walked out and haven't returned nor do I plan on returning. I drove down the road to a shop called Lawndale Smoke & Vape and they actually took the time to listen and answer my questions. They didn't have the coils I needed but they placed an order for me and had the coils about 3 days later. I ended up spending about $250 on a new mod, Tank, coils and juice. That will be my new shop for EVERYTHING Vape related. Had the waste of human space at Valiant taken the time to do his job I would have spent my money there. He was very helpful and took the time to answer questions and suggested I call his assistant manager Vicki at the store to find out exactly what they had in stock. Glad I did... she was very personable, friendly and helpful, and even agreed to take my order over the phone securing it until my arrival in town in 2 weeks. Now that's customer service. The building dates back to the 1920s according to county records and it has been a fixture in Danbury for generations, sitting just a short distance from the entrance to Hanging Rock State Park. Once you step inside though, it turns into the kind of true country store that is getting harder to find. Shelves are packed with old fashioned candies, local preserves and james, small household items and even a bit of clothing. It feels lived in and authentic, the way a general store should. A friendly lady rang up my purchase, a fridge magnet and some pimento cheese that ended up being breakfast and snacks for the rest of the day. Priddy's is also known locally for its weekend music gatherings and community events, something that you can see mentioned in tourism guides and Stokes County historical notes. I am super pleased that I stopped in because it is one of those places that rewards curiosity and looking past the cover. It's the kind of roadside store that looks ordinary until you give it that chance and realize that it has been a part of the community for a century for a reason.
