There is a floral mural on the back wall of the bookstore that really bring your eyes up to the ceiling. The place is so artfully decorated it is a pleasure to be in the store. Although I didn't have any questions or need any help, the lady at the counter helped a patrons while I was there. She helped them find exactly what they were looking for! If you are looking for a bargain, they have some $1 bins under the tables in the middle of the store. The cutest bookstore, I must recommend a stop by for a little browse. They have a setup at both And Stuff in Nob Hill and Montage Coffee in Los Ranchos. I think the And Stuff location tends to have more of a used selection but Montage is such a fun space. Over the years I have purchased a good amount of books from Harvest Moon and even when I'm out of room on my bookcase, they always have such interesting options, highly recommend checking them out. Plus there is no such thing as a bad excuse to go to Montage.

The only one that comes close is The FriendShop in Rio Rancho. lots and lots of stacks to get lost in. I found comic books and pulp novels I've been looking for for years. The only slight issue is that, because of the neighborhood, they have to buzz you in. So for someone like me who is wracked with Jewish guilt I alway feel I need to buy at least something before I get buzzed out.

But that wouldn't be fair would it? They have a MASSIVE collection of vinyl. SO MANY RECORD! I loved hanging out and listening to the records as well. I don't have a record player so I amused myself by looking at the used book collection. There were also vintage toys and assorted dudads. OH!!! I almost forgot they had CD's AND 8 track tapes!! I saw 8 track tapes there! This is a shop that you could really get lost in. One of the things I like to do when I go to a place like this is just walk around and see what falls into my hand. I did that and came home with a really cool book. Mecca is a great place to visit when you have time to indulge yourself, and I highly recommend doing so.
