I recently went to Downtown Brooklyn in Penrith for lunch. I ordered the Half Poppa with comes with 2 beef patties, 2 slices of American cheese, 2 pieces of maple bacon, onion, and juicy sauce. The price was $26 with includes chips and a drink which is a little on the expensive side but still reasonable considering how much food you are getting. The quality of food was pretty good, the chips were amazing and drink was good as always although the burger was extremely oily and greasy and made me feel a bit unwell but that is what kind of food it is so what do you expect but could be a little less greasy. To be honest I will probably not be returning to this burger bar since I did not enjoy it as much as I intended but that doesn't mean you won't enjoy it. read more

The place is massive with more seating than you can poke a stick at. The menu looks droolworthy. The burgers though, were rather disappointing. My partner got The Riff, meat patty wasn't that tasty. Both were quite dry. My Straten Island was alright. Didn't really like the spicy sauce, and the chicken didn't have much flavour. The jalapeño poppers were to die for, though. Will definitely be coming back for those, and trying the ribs & wings next time. read more

What a great place! I came here for lunch and it wasn't overly busy. The service was great, although the cheese sauce wasn't available as they needed to make more. I ordered the cheeky cheeseburger and my friend The Riff. We got a side of fries. The burgers were great, thick beef patties and plenty of sauce. They had Budweiser which pleases me as I love it! The only bad things I would say is not having the cheesy sauce and the sauce bottles on the tables weren't clean. The table was sticky and our table was uneven. I will definitely be back, the waitress was lovely and the food was excellent. I'm looking forward to trying more! read more

Mediocre food and rude staff. I was just going to write it off as a bad visit, but then saw a nasty response to some controversy about their Facebook post. They "won't ever delete the post" making fun of people with food allergies. In fact, apparently people "can't take a joke" and they excuse their behavior because someone that works there "has allergies." Sure... We've all heard that excuse. This place isn't too bad. I got the lil cease and the loaded cheesy fries. The burger wasn't anything to rave about but there does seem to be better burgers you can get. The loaded fries were pretty good but again, nothing to rave about. The food was a little slow to come out but it was reasonable as there was a fair few people in the place.
