While I've only had limited interaction with Pepie, she seems very good at running this place, training and managing the therapists, the scheduling, etc. I've been working with Toby, and think he is spectacular. I've done my share of P.T. at other facilities (after other injuries, etc.), and often times the therapists aren't all that remarkable, and they often are working on multiple clients at one time. What I especially like about Toby is that...it's clear that he is extremely knowledgeable, and he always employs a host of different techniques, each time I see him. Also, whenever he is working on my hand/wrist/forearm, to help improve range of motion, etc., it always feels like he's intuiting precisely what I need, at that point in time. (In other words, he's not just going through the motions, or doing a bunch of pressing here or there, because it might look 'impressive'. He's clearly very intuitive, and customizes his O.T. work on me, for each session. I should also add that....he's got a great personality and sense of humor, which helps make the sometimes-intense O.T. sessions, a bit more tolerable ;-) I'm very grateful to Toby, and to Hands-Up, as a whole, for giving me the tools to get back my wrist mobility and extension/flexion.

Easily one of the kindest, most knowledgeable, professional, patient, caring, and dialed-in physical therapists I have ever encountered. My recovery with, and because of Rich, has been seamless. Rich always was prepared for our sessions together with a variety of exercises to aide in my recovery. He always took the time to fully explain everything- be it the exercise, the way it impacts my recovery, my healing, how to best replicate the work at home, etc. Rich always kept me fully informed and I truly cannot say enough good things about him! He's as top notch as they come and I'm so grateful for his care. He also was my biggest cheerleader and that really just says so much about who he is as a person. He truly cares. I should have just came here initially, because Kendra is well versed in the OT field. Total 360 experience at this location, first Lloyd contacted me a day before to make sure they could help me, so we don't waste each other's time, since he was aware of my NoHo experience. I sent images of my splints and Kendra reviewed it and confirmed she was able to help me. I want to say she is the GOAT. Let's be clear regarding the charges, yes, I paid for this session, but it is because Kendra could help me and because it was a time consuming fix, and not something small like a velcro came off or etc. NoHo wanted to charge me to just to write some things in their system and for Lexi to say, you would have to be charged again once I am unable to help you and someone has to do another evaluation. Meanwhile their entire system is connected, so why would I need another evaluation? But let's get back to Kendra - she made my splints so much better, since we troubleshoot the previous issues that were causing the splints to fall apart after 2 months of wear. Hoping the new solve will eliminate breakdown after such a short time frame.

This past July, I hurt myself during yoga (a result and mix of over-exercising/working out/pandemic stress) and I was referred to this practice. Before then, I had never injured myself physically and was experiencing - what I soon came to recognize - a high level of anxiety previously unknown to me. As someone who always felt extremely strong, both physically and mentally, I felt like a stranger in my own body. Dr. Niv (Zack) was my primary therapist and (while I wish I had never injured myself or had to learn what anxiety was) I consider it a major blessing that of all the PT's in the world, I somehow happened to find him. He is an expert, serious professional, and all around fantastic human being. I have never felt more safe, taken care, understood, or truly heard by a health care professional ever in my life. The care I received was always personalized and thoughtful. I always felt like he wanted to hear what was on my mind/concerns/etc. His understanding of the body and mind is incredible. My treatment always felt like an extremely educated and human approach. Something I (and everyone else) desperately needed. I could go on! While I am essentially recovered, I wish I could visit this practice every week. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Also noteworthy: The front desk staff are amazing - incredibly easy to make or change an appointment, assist with insurance/billing related questions or problems. The facility is clean & welcoming.
