My girlfriend booked a couples massage for my birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable from start to finish. We were placed in separate rooms, which defeated the purpose of a couples massage, and without any explanation. On top of that, we were each assigned opposite-gender therapists, which felt inappropriate and made both of us uncomfortable. During my massage, the therapist kept walking in and out of the room, leaving the door open several times, which made me feel exposed and uneasy. At the end, she made an inappropriate comment about me being "a very strong man" in front of my girlfriend and her husband, which was completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, after my girlfriend left a tip, they told her she should leave a larger one. It was very uncomfortable and disrespectful. We stood there awkwardly while they spoke in another language and ignored us until we asked if we could leave. My girlfriend worked hard to surprise me for my birthday, and it's disappointing that this special occasion turned into such an unpleasant experience. As we arrived we told the guy that we've reserved a couples massage and seem clueless he acted liked he didn't know how to communicate I pointed the the price were it said couples massage for 130$ and he said okay , but ended up separating my partner and I to different rooms and once again the communication was confusing and ended up getting the opposite gender which felt uncomfortable. During the session, I found it unusual that part of the massage involved the therapist standing on my back and using her feet, which was awkward. Additionally, upon paying $70 (including a $10 tip) with $80 cash withdrawn from an ATM that charged a fee, the therapist insisted it wasn't enough and refused to provide change. This is the first time I questioned whether or not a place was inherently safe. To be clear- at no time was my safety in question, but the "vibe" is in no way middle-high end quality as you may find elsewhere. An example of my point- I have never gone to a massage business with an ATM in the lobby. Bars on windows. Communication was nil- I was barely greeted as I walked in- showed a room- therapist did not introduce themselves nor ask where I would like extra attention. He asked what pressure I wanted and that was it I am not super modest when it comes to massage- but every massage I've ever received (at least 100)- a sheet has been provided for a cover. This had just a smallish flannel blanket- as a tall and full figured person, I didn't feel covered, esp when it was time to turn over. Awkward, esp with a therapist of opposite gender. No water offered at the end- another first for me- almost any massage therapist will offer a cup or bottle of water after a massage. Esp here in the desert? And when I handed him a tip, he literally grunted and counted the cash in front of me. Completely unprofessional. I'm 24 hours out from massage and I'm More in pain than feeling relaxed. I asked for medium pressure and would say most of the time it was firm- but I knew I had a lot of knots and tension so I flowed with it. In retrospect, I should have asked him to ease up. I can't say I'd recommend this place, yet nothing was hugely problematic. Just not my vibe for a relaxing massage. I still feel very off about it am extremely sore. I went in for 60 minute massage which I was told would be $65.00 tax included. When I handed the owner my debit card he pointed to the atm machine. I was confused because the businesses window has a sticker of all the cards they accept. Anyways, I went ahead and pulled out $80, since you can only take out in 20 dollar increments, and paid a total of 6 dollars in fees, to get the money out. Bought a Groupon for a 30min foot-massage here and it was a steal! Bought it the night before and they have walk-in service. Didn't have to wait too long for service and it was more than just a foot massage. They rubbed down my temples, shoulders and back and still gave me a pretty descent foot massage. Wow! I'm so happy I found this place. It had some great pros as well as a some cons but for the price I can deal with a few minimal cons. So let's start with the pros. First I was able to walk in and immediately get services. Similar to both community Massage clinics if you don't mind sharing space you can pretty much walk in with little to no wait. They have long hours so you could easily swing in after work, etc. The Massage itself was exceptional! My experience ranged from a foot soak, to an amazing foot rub, body massage, and a few occasional stretches. My masseuse was awesome and the pressure, which sometimes is too strong with oriental massages was nearly perfect. The prices are great and reasonable. Now, let's look at the cons. The community massage space is adjacent to the check in desk and separated by a small wall. The spa sits on a main road so those who are very aware of environments and sounds might be bothered so you may want to bring ear plugs. There was someone waiting for services when I came in and her service ended before mine but unfortunately most of the noise came from workers. Again, I'm very sensitive to sounds, smells, etc. so this might not have bothered anyone else. There were 2 other employees there. One kept walking back and forth (in what sounded like flip flops) asking my masseuse stuff. Someone else decided to have a snack, lunch or something and I presume it was soup because they slurped it down. Thank God it wasn't a lot because that would drove me bananas-- but as I said before I have keen hearing. Finally, when my therapist tapped me to rollover I noticed the other masseuse lying on the bed beside me just staring. I'm not sure if she was merely observing the Massage technique or what but it was a bit uncomfortable. Those were the main cons. There were also a few things that made me raise an eyebrow but weren't deal breakers, rather notable mentions. There is a language barrier. My masseuse could not speak any English but did use her phone to translate my questions. After my massage I went to the restroom and saw the space was way bigger than it appeared. They also have private rooms if you want to relax in private or want to have your occasional doze off and snore in peace lol. Finally they do have yelp deals and there was a coupon for $10 off at your first check in. I tried to use this coupon and I'm not sure if they weren't aware how it worked or just weren't sure I was a person of integrity but they snapped several pics of my phone with the promo on it. Even after I marked it as used they continued to take pictures of my phone's screen. With all that said it was a great massage for a great price so I plan on visiting again. read more

Relaxation.... So I read the review of this place on yelp and it peaked my curiosity. I had to give it a try myself. A friend of mine and I decided to give it a try. The location of this place is smack down in the middle of the downtown district. Im not going to lie after I drove up I was a little wary. When we walked in however we were greeted by the nicest people. Thankfully they had room for our walk in visit and there was no wait. We talked to them about the options they had to offer and we made our choices. They escort you to a semi-private room with a curtain for privacy and the ambiance whispers relaxation and serenity. My only regret is not finding this place sooner. I was a mid afternoon walk-in and was greeted and seated right away. The room is not private but it is quiet and comfortable. They did have one private room available- perhaps you could ask for that if you wanted it. I did and hour foot and body massage combo. Really enjoyed the experience. The water the put your feet in is just plain warm water and they use unscented lotion and warm towels. They wipe the lotion/oil off of your feet and legs or body so you don't leave feeling like a grease ball. We bought an $11 Groupon for a 30 minute foot massage. When we got there we were offered 60 minute fool body massage for an additional $20. That was the best $31 I've ever spent! The massage started with a foot soak followed by an amazing foot and leg scrub and ended with a hot stone back massage. Came in without appoint and was seen right away. The prices are very reasonable. However, one thing that I did find interesting was despite asking for an hour foot massage, I maybe got 25 minutes of it between them working on my head, neck, and arms and going to go get hot towels and dumping out the water. So don't expect to get the full time of any of the massages with all the other admin time included. However the pressure was solid and they were friendly despite not speaking English well.
