My girls & I arrived at 11:50 PM & was told by a guy that was leaving to wait 5 minutes for the other workers to count cash because there was a shift change happening. No problem, I understand that since I work in the industry but when we come back at 11:55 PM, another girl signaled to through the door to wait another 10 minutes... Okay whatever, we wait again. We come back at 12:08 PM & another girl signals to wait another 10 minutes ! Are you kidding ?? It's 47 degrees outside & we aren't even allowed to wait inside. Great New York style deli. For the Jewish holidays they have awesome family favorites and for breakfast they are great. Serving sizes are huge so come hungry. I'm just not crazy about the prices but that still doesn't stop me from coming in for there amazing Matzoh ball soup and bagel with nova lox read more

Everything here is super expensive and they all have different prices on the same items. They could make more money by ordering more products and lowering the price, younger people don't wants to buy sex toys online and get it mailed so this place has potential. They always have outfits but not many sex toys. I opt to buy online now. Same products are more than half as cheap online, I do appreciate that it's open 24 hours though just a button you press to ensure they know who's entering after hours. ...I would like to dedicate this review to my friend Jeff C., who asked our Yelp community in Nola what we won't review. I geuss you could say I'm going to review any place I've visited :)... So I traveled to Houston with a bunch of girlfriends to see a concert recently. We were staying in a hotel none of us had never been to before and were a little surprised that to see once we checked in that we were right next door to a very large adult superstore. It was very brightly lit and on our second night there when we were at the hotel with nothing to do we decided to walk over and check it out. The place is huge and pretty much everything you'd expect to find here you'll find. It wasn't gross or seedy in here and we felt comfortable and were having fun being silly. Then I noticed the guy working the cash register kind of staring in our general direction. Not in a creepy way, but still. Every time I looked over at him he was looking at us. What the hell? I mean did he think we were going to shoplift some adult novelties? Anyway. I decided to purchase something (for a bachelorette party...get your mind out of the gutter y'all) and I walked up to the guy to check out. I'm sort of a smart ass sometimes so I decided to mess with the guy and ask about why he was leering over at us. I was like, "uhh, you were kind of giving me the stare down a little while ago. What was up with that? I'm not about to be arrested for stealing handcuffs...how embarrassing would that be?!" He responded, "oh, no, Miss. I was looking at that creepy guy on the aisle next to you guys who was leering at you and your friends to make sure he didn't do or try to say anything inappropriate. I've had to kick out or call the police on guys like him when a group of girls are in here." Awesome customer service, ok? Awesome :) I nearly hugged that sweet cashier, but I WAS in an adult store. Of the 9 Katz locations, the Galleria (5555 SW FWY) store is my favorite. The store is clean, well-lit and filled with color, but it's the staff (starting with with the GM Lori, who spent years in the medical field before transitioning to retail and is one of the most knowledgeable retail employees I've ever come across) that makes coming in an experience. I've come in to browse, without buying, and had long, extremely educational conversations with whomever was working the floor, and I've never been given any attitude or hard sell. Everyone seems genuinely happy to be there, happy to help and it's why this Katz is one of my two go-to adult boutiques in the city. read more

Stopped by on a whim and am SO glad that I did! This location is centrally located, well lit, well stocked with lots of fun toys, bdsm/ fantasy gear, and reasonably priced boutique fashion clothing items. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the selection. The store manager Lori mentioned wanting to expand the fashion/ boutique clothing item selection, which I would love. Once I got home from my visit to this store for a few trickets in celebration of my boyfriends birthday, I realized I didn't have my debit card. I called the store and explained to the clerk that I may have dropped it on the floor b4 I left. She took a look around and after she didn't see it, She then offered to go outside where I was parked. Went in night before last, the employee was counting money so she didnt let us in right away but she told us to wait a couple of minutes. Once in she was very helpful and made me feel very comfortable! She knew alot of things i just didnt know about the merchandise. This Katz store impressed me with the categorization and clean look. I loved the eye catching lingerie choices and the friendly employees. One employee, Kevin, helped me figure out which style lingerie suited me best, and I was very happy he was able to tell me everything about the products I reviewed. I've shopped here a few times and never had a problem until today. I was in there for 5 minutes and asked a guy to check on a size in the back. He comes out with who I assume is the manager. She was rude from the begining. Instead of simply saying "I'm sorry but we don't have your size" she proceeds to give me attitude and say that it wouldn't fit anyway because my chest is too small. Horrid woman who should NOT be running a mop on the floor let alone a store. Will not spend another penny here until she is gone.
