She was amazing with my girls. They warm up quickly with the right person and Cassie is just that. She knows exactly what to say and how to say it to make you feel comfortable. She has the perfect ideas and captures them so quickly. I warned her before we shot that we were NOT very good picture takers and didn't have a clue on how to pose. Cassie never made us feel silly for that and definitely helped us capture those moments. It was so hard to choose from all of them that we ordered more than our package included, which was already 15 pictures (color and black and white). She was quick with her sneak peak and even quicker with the whole album. She was clear about how long it would take from start to finish (once the pictures were taken). This process took about 30 second from leaving the location for sneak peak and about a day or so to see the whole album. I took forever deciding which ones we wanted but I'd say all in all maybe 3 days from picture taking to having edited pictures. Dad is deployed and that made it hard to want to take these pictures but between Cassie's wonderful and patient personality and the weather cooperating perfectly, we were able to come out with some of the most fantastic pictures! Before we even left the shoot, we set up deployment homecoming pictures. AND, she doesn't know it yet, she'll be doing newborn/family pictures once baby brother is born! I cannot stress enough how wonderful this experience was and I truly feel like I walked away with a new friend on top of the perfect pictures.

She has a studio at her home with plenty of snacks while you do your sessions. It's also heated for those chillier winter months. The props she has are amazing and add a lovely style to her photos. For our maternity pictures we were at the beach and for our family pics we went to a hiking trail. She's able to taylor yo meet your needs. She was very professional and responsive by text and email. The newborn shoot took place at her home studio. She had lots of options for wraps, props, colors, etc. Christy was so patient with our little one, especially when he woke up and got fussy and needed a feeding mid-shoot. She was very careful and gentle with him when positioning him for the photos and worked with his natural tendencies, even when it wasn't the normal way she was used to positioning babies with her light source, etc. She took as much time as needed to get pictures that we would be happy with. She accommodated our color and style preferences well. We received a link to the photo gallery in about a week and a half and the digital files less than a week after selecting a package and submitting payment. The pictures came out amazing and will be such precious memories of our little guy. Pricing seemed standard for this type of work. She also waived the session fee for a maternity photo shoot when booking both a maternity and newborn shoot. I highly recommend Christy for newborn photos!
