We recently took a trip to Zihuatanejo for the first time. Prior to arriving I had made an appointment with a Dr. to have a night guard made. He had quoted me $200 vs. $600 here in the Seattle area. When we arrived at his office, it was filthy and his x-ray machine had to have been a WW II left over (taped together with duc tape. Needless to say, we walked out and went searching for another dentist. Fortunately, we ran into an ex-pat from New Mexico who said he was very happy with his dentist who spoke english and was just a couple blocks away. He walked us over to her office and we were able to make an appointment for 2 days later. When we arrived for the appointment, she was on time and in addition to the night guard, she performed 4 other proceedures over the next 2 hours. What the dentist in Seattle wanted $3600 for Dr. Ramos charged me $250.00 for everything. She does no advertising, but is on FaceBook if you would like to find her there.
