My favorite sessions, 2hr. Shamanic Acupuncture, are based in a foundation of Chinese Medicine, I begin with massage, then choose the acupuncture points most relevant to restore energy and harmony to the body, then place crystals on or around the body to also harmonize or break up stagnant energy, sometimes using tuning forks and singing bowls to facilitate this balance more. Once needles and crystals are in place, I check and balance the chakras, next holding the head for cranial sacral and reiki to listen to the body's energy on yet still a deeper level.
I have discovered that once you have an assortment of healing tools it is difficult to only use one modality, so I use them all in order to effect the most change in the shortest time. I often describe my sessions as a "reset" button. We know what feeling great is and we also know when that is not our current state. We are all just atoms vibrating, using multiple energy systems together allows for a gentle layering that can help remove old thoughts, patterns or vibrations. Allowing you a space to release and resolve obstacles that no longer serve you. My preference is always to be able to do the work that feels right in the moment for that patient.

I've been in the healing arts for 19 years. Trained and licensed in New York first as a massage therapist then as an acupuncturist and herbalist before spending years in Guatemala at a meditation center deepening my connection to the energy worlds. I've been in Troncones for 8 years and this year started my own practice.
Meet the Business Owner: Michelle H.
I spent years working as an artist, waitress and even corporate investigator before listening to the clear voice in my heart guiding me into alternative medicines. With 19 years of experience and a Masters in Chinese Medicine. In 2008 I moved to Guatemala for a change in perspective and was changed on every level; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I lived, worked and taught at Las Pirámides Meditation Center and The Flower House where I studied esoteric metaphysics. My studies included hermetic kabbala, tarot, numerology, lucid dreaming and astral traveling, astrology, yoga, fasting and periods of silent meditation. I have completed many 5 day silences and additional 20 and 40 day silences as well. While in Guatemala, Continued on the as a 200hr/500hr Yoga teacher and During these studies and being surrounded my Mayan culture and traditional ceremonies I became deeply interested studies in the Shamanic aspects of acupuncture as a healer.
