I recieved 7 stiches to my lip and 3 to my hand. Within 3 days my lip became necrotic. I saw my PCP on day 4 and her IMMEDIATE reaction was that I needed to see a surgeon THAT DAY!! No one was available on Day 5 Dr.Russ examined me.... cut out the necrotic tissue on my lip and performed the MOST AMAZING reconstruction surgery!! He claimed he wasn't a plastic surgeon but his work was AMAZING. After following his treatment plan as instructed... when I came back 3 days later for my post-op visit. He was thrilled that the wound looked 1000% better and so was I !!! On day 10 he removed the sutures he placed and OMG!!! The deformity that I anticipated having was NO LONGER an issue because his work was ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING leaving only a hairline scar!!! I began seeing him about six years ago and he helped me to save all the teeth possible in my upper; now we are working on my lower. He has been most patient with my small resources. He lets me pay by the month until I have enough to do the first step, then work up enough money for the next step, etc. Finally he put me on the 'honor system' and did the work and let me pay it by the month after, not before. But try finding another dentist as talented and knowledgeable who will actually talk to you about money. You are generally sent to speak to a case manager and the rules about payment are fixed. He has never recommended anything but what was needed to save my teeth. He also has no problem in finding ways to save money with alternate treatment methods if he knows you are paying out of pocket. This seems all about money but it isn't. He is an excellent dentist and all his staff, without exception, are superior. He is realistic about money and unafraid to discuss alternatives if you can't afford something like implants, which I can't. I cannot say enough positive about him and his staff.

He thoroughly explained the process, and we were happy to proceed with the surgery. My results were excellent; my stomach was flat as a washboard and lasted for many, many years; however, with life, medical procedures, weight gain, and loss, my body began to change.
