I was referred to Dr Godat office. I arrived at 1:15pm for my 2pm appointment. I did not get called until 2:40pm. I am a mid age black women and the people that did not look like me received friendy service and conversation. I posted a review on competitive website that was specific to my experience within hours I saw reviews disputing my exact experience, the wait time, specific Rebecca and Dr Godat( rude, condescending, and impatient), as well as negative customer interaction compared to those that did not look like me. I also noticed that the prevuous reviews that only had 5 stars, comments have aaded, and some edited, included specific associate I mentioned. read more

I needed to get one tooth pulled because it broke. They made a partial for me that added some teeth to the back. When my partial broke, I decided to go to a regular dentist to get it made. By the time I had gone to the dentist, the partial made all my natural teeth loose. I ended up having to pull them all and get a full denture. I'm not sure if they expected me to pay even more, but I will definitely NOT be going back there again. read more

Dr. Godat completed an implant for me and was very personable and professional. Expensive but you get what you pay for. The only issue is out of 13 appointments, I was never ever seen close to my appointment time. Just know that you will wait anywhere from 30-70 minutes in the lobby regardless of how busy it is. I have made early morning, mid day and after appointments. All the same result. I'm sitting alone in the lobby now....30 minutes and counting. Be patient and have your checkbook ready. read more

They told me I needed to have LANAP for periodontal disease on the top and bottom gums. I do not have dental insurance so had to pay the whole $7800.00 up front. I decided to have a second opinion and was told elsewhere that my bottom gums were fine. I cancelled my procedure 48 hours out and they would only refund $7000.00... My daughter Nyla had an adult tongue tie or frenectomy procedure completed by Dr. Craddock. I don't know where to begin with this review. Everything was excellent! A+, unbelievable! This office is by far the best experience I have ever had with a medical doctor and staff. The most impressive part of my family's experience was 1) consistency and 2) Everyone has the same spirit. They all smile! They all greet you whether your a new or old patient. They all seem to be informative. There is not an ugly spirit in the whole clinic, unless it's locked up in a file room. They explain everything thoroughly and I never sensed any prejudice. These folks need to teach the entire mid south how to provide care. Having had some major surgery including surgical tooth extractions and bone grafts, the pain was minimal and required very little of the pain medication. If you are facing significant dental services and are nervous about the journey, I highly recommend Dr. Godat and his team. I had gum surgery and bone grafting a year ago and have been thoroughly pleased with the process thus far. I had an appointment for July 30, 2017. My work schedule was changed. I had to call and reschedule. I was charged $200 for cancelling and rescheduling. I paid $617 up front, so it's not like I didn't intend on having procedure done. I guess that they would rather have the $200 than the profit on a $4000 procedure. They said that they are mailing a refund check to me. The rescheduling policy is in the paperwork, but it was out of my control. read more

For those of us who have experienced difficult dental issues for a long time, that characteristic of "caring" is especially important. A few years ago, I went to Dr. Godat for a second opinion: I had been told by another periodontist that I had periodontal disease but I was skeptical. After extensive examination and review of my dental history, Dr. Godat assured me that I did not have periodontal disease.He was able to resolve my dental issues and has also performed a dental implant.
