I sat here for a while reading the other reviews and basically focused on the 1 stars because I guess I was intrigued why people had such a bad experience. I can testify that I am on this program on and off for over a year. I started in May of 2024 and went through the whole program which I lost 25lbs. and then I started to go back to back to my old habits and gain back 10lbs. So I decided to go back on it in January 2025 and do another round. As I came to the end of that round I was close to my first goal. So I decided to do it again. As I achieved another goal I set for myself I thought to myself why not do it again because the gap started to become more realistic in where I wanted to be. Needless to say I am currently on my 4th round this year and lost 62lbs from last May and just shy of 50 lbs since January 2025. My skin is tight, I actually see my abs, I feel great and healthy and I have changed my mindset and lifestyle. I am more aware about the way I eat and what foods I consume. I am also more aware of how important it is to change the way I cook, the products I use and really try to portion my food so that I don't over eat. I started at size 8/10 and now I am 2/4. Although it was a long and expensive journey I feel accomplished that I was able to shorten that big weight gap almost to close, even though I would like to lose at least another 8-10lbs to reach a weight that I was when I was a teenager. I once thought it was impossible to get there and it would never happen but now I am just a few lbs away. I am realistic and with 7 days left I doubt I will be able to close that gap completely but that doesn't mean I won't stop trying. What motivated me was that I changed my mindset that I wanted to reach my goal weight. Each round I set out a realistic goal weight so I would be proud of myself once I reached it and not disappointed. I did the program with my husband who also lost a ton of weight and we supported and encouraged each other mostly on days that were rough to stay focused. Yes, you maintaining a calorie deficit for 43 days but it is only 43 days, but that changes once the 43 days are up, yes you do take supplements that help with hunger and truly you aren't hungry at all. People are afraid of calorie deficit diets but in the same breath aren't afraid to stick a needle in their bodies with Ozempic which I was afraid to do because I am/was unsure what the side effects may be in years to come. I think this is a healthy alternative to losing weight if you commit yourself and follow the program without cheating. The program has NO room for cheating and if you do, it will NOT work for you. I think Dr Fedrico, Alex and Dana are very helpful , knowledgeable, accessible and encouraging. To be honest I was a little on the fence on how this might go but I looked at it as if it was an investment in my health and in me, which I think got lost along the way while being a mom of 3. I finally feel good in my own skin. Needless to say it was worth it, my only regret is that I didn't do this sooner. Dr. Ferdico and his team are great people. I am on the program finishing up and i lost 43.7 lbs in 43 days. I feel much better. Breathing at night better, feeling more confident, and clothes are loose on me. I have tried everything (weight watchers, jenny craig, my own diet, red light green light, etc.). This has been the only one that worked. Usually i would lose some weight and cheat and gain it all back and more. Its been a real battle my whole life. I put off writing this review because every time I sat down to do it i became very emotional. I lost 130lbs in 3 rounds with Dr. Fat Loss. To say that this program has changed my life is an understatement. I just finished my weight loss plan yesterday. I must say what a life changing moment. I have lost a total of 46lbs and have gone from a size 42 pants to a size 36. I was very skeptical from the beginning but went into it with an open mind. It is a strict diet plan but if you follow the instructions and do what Dr Ferdico tells you it works. If you don't listen or you cheat, well just like any other diet plan it won't work. But I already have had 4 people I know sign up because they have seen my change and they have already have lost more than 10lbs each. Each plan is specific to every individual and some will loose weight faster than others. From my experience the plan is very strict and it is a low calorie plan. I thought I would be starving myself but only the opposite the only time I felt hungry was in the 1st week because I kept seeing everyone else eat. After that I had no hunger pains but I still had to follow the plan and eat. I am a very detailed person and I called the office many times with questions and every time I got an answer that helped me along. I even received 2 calls from Dr Ferdico on the weekend when I had left a message on there phone service because they are closed on the weekend. I have to start by saying that this program and Dr. Ferdico has changed my life. I started the program on 1/3/17. Every year I say I'm going to change and loose weight and get healthy. Going into this program I knew that I would have to be all in. Yes it was a bit intimidating because I have never done anything like this. I have tried a few other diets and have lost weight before but have always put it back on and some. When I sat down with the staff and discussed how this would go I wasn't sure how I would do. I am just about done with the program and I can't tell you how happy I am with the results thus far. I am on day 40 and have lost 37 lbs. I was skeptical at first, not sure if I could manage the daily intake requirements but after the first week it because a normal routine, You must follow the program and do not cheat. I eat 6 separate meals. Ive experimented with all different kind of spices and spend more time shopping and developing my daily meals. I was /am never hungry, No cravings, I have a lot of energy and those aches and pains in my joints have gone away. I was on medication for hormonal imbalances and now I no longer require them. I went from a 13/14 to a 8/10 and believe can fit some 7/8 sized clothing. I read labels all the time and am very aware of what I place in my body. This program is not a "get skinny quick" scheme. Its a life changing journey that you have to commit to. Obviously, if you go back to those foods that made you overweight, it won't be long before you become "overweight" again. Life Changing. At 55 years old I hit a low point in my health and fitness. It did not matter how much I exercised and how many calories I was burning, logging close to 5,000 miles per year on a bicycle. My nutrition and lifestyle were out of control and I felt it. I've know Dr. Ferdico for many years and I saw the transformation in his own life years ago but never consulted with him until two months ago. The process is simple but not easy- at first. I have tried so many diets; so many workout programs to lose weight and nothing and I mean nothing has given me a permanent fix. So as I was listening to my favorite radio station "Z100" I heard Scary Jones talk about the program and how much weight he was losing. I have done Dr. Ferdico's weight loss program two times, and it has truly been life changing. I have lost a total of 49 lbs (between the two rounds), 29 1/2 inches off of my entire body, and gone down from a size 18 to a size 10. I have struggled with my weight my entire life, and I finally found something that really works. The first 43 days were rough, and took self control, however, I kept telling myself that it was only temporary. This is my third session with the great staff at Dr. Fat Loss. When I first went in for a consultation the Dr. and his staff made me feel like part of their family. What a great experience with a wonderful group of people. I weighed 270 lbs. when I first went for my initial visit, after a short 44 days I had lost 42lbs. while not being as strict as possible. This program is a AMAZING!!! I did two rounds and lost 65 lbs total. I followed the program and got results. The weight just came off. I wish I would of done it sooner.
