Upon reaching out they were going to be closed but happened to be able to get me in on a day off with clear and concise explanations of all fees. Due to the extreme nature of my situation Dr Sandy and the entire office was able to asses the situation professionally, quickly and referred me to the right people with her name and stamp on it. My first appointment at West Coast Dental was in early January. I'll admit that I was initially a little disappointed, as I had hoped to complete everything in one visit. I later scheduled an 8:00 a.m. appointment for January 31st and was told I would be seen and treated that day. When I returned on the 31st, I was treated by Dr. Pham, and Esmeralda assisted me with billing and benefits explanations. This is where my perspective completely changed. It quickly became clear why the office is so busy. Dr. Pham did an outstanding job, he was empathetic, kind, respectful, and took the time to thoroughly educate me about my treatment. Esmeralda was equally wonderful, clearly explaining what was covered by insurance, what was not, and reviewing my options without any pressure. Together, they made the experience genuinely positive. Fast forward to today, when I returned for my wisdom teeth extraction. Once again, Esmeralda was welcoming and helpful, and this time I was treated by Dr. Nguyen, the oral surgeon. She was incredibly efficient and skilled, the procedure was quick, smooth, and completely painless. I was honestly amazed at how comfortable the entire experience was. And so appreciative her and the dental assistant (whose name I forgot. Sorry) truly cared and eased my nerves. I and my family have been coming to HD since 1989. The care…read morewas excellent and you felt like family. When my dad passed way in 2012, his bridge was in the process of being repaired. When Dr. Trammel learned my father passed away he put a rush on my dad's bridge so that he may be buried with a full set of teeth. But the years caught up with this dentist. 6-7 years ago he botched my root canal and crowns. I complained to the staff about pain and discomfort but I was ignored. I had other problems that the staff ignored. Tremmel finally retired due to health problems. I ost a tooth because the gum area became infected. I complained for 2 months about the pain but was ignored. A new doctor redid my root canal but it was always painful for 3 years. Last year I was sent to a specialist and he informed me that when HD redid my root canal they did NOT clean out all the bacteria. HD did a poor job making me a partial because I lost that tooth. The partial was painful and it actually moved my back molars that it attached to. Instead of moving my Terr back the dentist shaved my teeth. They just replaced the crown that was not done correctly with a larger crown, but that moved my back teeth and I'm now biting down on my gums. Now they are saying they may have to shave my bone! Or this or that! It appears that I go in for one thing and they keep adding things. My day we called that padding the bill. So, my bite is messed up and the back teeth are still digging into my back gums. I left. Never to return. My suggestion don't go here because it's all about how many procedures they can force on you. They create problems so they can charge you more for more procedures.
