I was never even told there were pain management doctors who actually wanted to help me - I found this out at a rheumatologist appt. Earlier in 2026 I sought care from Dr Kirschner for debilitating perimenopause symptoms, namely horrible insomnia, worsening mental health and SWEATING THROUGH MY CLOTHES 3 TIMES A NIGHT. Dr Kirschner did nothing, prescribed nothing, and refused to let me go on hormone replacement therapy, which I'd requested, as I'm in perimenopause. April 2026, I've been diagnosed with FIBROMYALGIA which Dr Kirschner failed to diagnose or treat because he doesn't believe women's PAIN. Also, I found a female general practitioner who actually helped me, cared about my suffering, believed my symptoms and put me on hormone replacement therapy. The debilitating perimenopause symptoms improved significantly. Dr Kirscner DOES NOT CARE ABOUT WOMEN'S SUFFERING AND PAIN. For 6 years he happily left me to suffer in pain with no pain management. I started seeing a pain management Dr who believes my pain and put me on pain medication. Dr Kirschner is extremely cruel for letting me suffer for so long.

He did not review any of the labwork I sent over prior to my consultation. He then finally reviewed my labs after I spent over $400 on IV treatments and says the treatments did not work due me having too much malabsorption due to weight loss surgery. Why didn't he tell me this from the beginning? I asked for a refund and he refuses to give me one. What doctor waits until after you spend money on IV treatments before reviewing your bloodwork? He is very unprofessional, unethical and immoral and I hope this serves as a warning. They are only interested into funneling you into their profit generating useless IV treatments.

We've been going to Dr. Lipton for about 20 years now and his evaluations and treatment are spot on. It's a pretty decent drive (distance & timewise) for us but it's worth the trip. His treatments vary per ailment or injury and he always follows up with us on results of scans, tests or blood work. He recommends preventative measures that we find very effective and neither my wife or I take any prescription medications and haven't for almost 20 years. He is very knowledgeable and continues to learn and evolve with the times and we would trust no other doctor as much as Dr. Lipton for advice and treatment.

Dr. T. takes his medical training and experience and helps me understand CT's, MRI's, blood labs, and blends these with my subjective reports so that I have a comprehensive understanding of what my other specialists simply do not do. My recent changes of condition are unusual and don't fit the usual diagnosis and treatment plans that other neurologists, neurosurgsons, and my PCP try. THe result so far is, I continue to see these specialists but Dr. T. helps explain better and he also engages and consults with my specialists. Once we started seeing that my mom had symptoms of dementia, I immediately had her see Dr. Tabby because I know he'd do all he could to help her. He's a good man with great bedside manner and if you're in need of a neurologist, he's the one to go to!

If I am straight to the point, I have to say Dr. Gittens approach has restored my libido to where…read moreit was before my libido had tanked at just under 30 years old. I have been a patient of Dr. Gittens and his helpful team for about two years now. I'm leaving this review two years later because the end of a year (2018) makes us think. I'm thinking about how Dr. Gittens drastically changed my life for the better. Prior to my first consultation (29 years old) I had somehow lost my libido overnight, yet it took me at least four months to realize the change. Losing a strong libido just like that affected every facet of my life - relationships with women, relationships with family and my friends, and also my interest in hobbies and socializing. I think the point I realized it was truly an issue was during an all-inclusive Caribbean vacation with my girlfriend at the time. I actively avoided anything sexual and when we did I had issues. It not only hurt her feelings thinking I am just not attracted to her, but also made me realize how serious it is that at just under thirty years old I was struggling. To put it simply, I was beyond confused and worried prior to my first consultation with Dr. Gittens. I didn't find him through a referral but instead through my own methods. His social media pages are active (good sign), he's been quoted in just about every popular magazine from Men's Health to Buzzfeed, he has positive reviews on Yelp, Google, and other places, he's won the Philadelphia Top Doctor Award multiple times (big deal if you know Philly well), checking his LinkedIn for even more information about where he went to school, that he taught as an adjunct professor, and his experience working as a Sexual Medicine Specialist for years. I called afterward to potentially schedule an appointment and it was a good sign that his team answered the phone on my first attempt because it shows Dr. Gittens and his team run a solid medical practice and are in sync. During that first consultation Dr. Gittens asked me about myself, lifestyle, medical history, current medications, why I was here (libido), and helped establish a timeline. This was all done in his Bala office with a second monitor facing me as he was able to better explain specifics about potential causes and what we would do to restore my libido. I came out feeling good mentally and got the specific medical labs Dr. Gittens requested. My second appointment shortly after was when we took-action. We discussed the problem in greater detail and with the labs Dr. Gittens to explain his thoughts clearly and with diagrams to demonstrate some points. Although my labs came out somewhat normal, Dr. Gittens was able to think outside of the box and not dismiss me like I expect other busy doctors would. The appointment ended with me trying a new medication. It worked well for some time and without side effects. My libido was not entirely back to normal but at least I was making progress. I followed up with Dr. Gittens every few months and over the past few years we have added a few more medications (nothing too serious) and over the past few years it has increased significantly nearly to the point before I had any problems. But it's never a clear path and I guess that is where many patients give up - no matter what the person is being treated for. I trust Dr. Gittens and so we continued to adjust my medication while I also tried living a healthier lifestyle. It's a little more than week since the start of 2018 and I have had a consistent, very solid libido for at least six months now. That doesn't mean I'm done and don't need Dr. Gittens help anymore. My body will continue to change as I age and my lifestyle changes. I don't expect my current regimen to be permanent. That would be completely unrealistic when it comes to something like sexual medicine. But for the time being everything is great and when my libido inevitably changes - 1 month or 10 years from now, I'll be returning to Dr. Gittens again for help and adjustments. But at the moment I have appointments no more than four times per year. What Dr. Gittens has done to help me is life-changing. Anyone reading this might not really "get it" until it happens to them. Sexual Medicine Specialists don't grow on trees. It's a very particular type of medical field and being able to find one of the few that are great at what they do is rare. Reflecting on 2018 I count Dr. Gittens as one of the most impactful people to my life this past year. Can I give six stars instead of five?

Dr. Gittens is very detail and results-oriented. Most doctors just treat the symptoms with Viagra, but that only works temporarily. I'm so pleased with the results that I travel regularly from Massachusetts to his offices in Pennsylvania and New York for office visits. When I'm not able to come into the office, we can make telehealth appointments.
