I was never told there were pain management doctors who actually wanted to help me. My serious, chronic pain was ignored and minimized. Recently I was having life-disrupting perimenopause symptoms, and I agonized to Dr Kirschner over not sleeping, sweating through my clothes several times a night, and worsening mental health. I was ignored and not given a single piece of advice about how to get help. I had asked to go on hormone replacement therapy and I was denied. At my 1st appointment with my female rheumatologist she diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. WHY WAS DR KIRSCHNER SO INEPT THAT HE MISSED THIS CRITICAL, LIFE CHANGING DIAGNOSIS? WHY DID HE IGNORE MY 5+ YEARS OF AGONY, SUFFERING WITH NO PAIN MANAGEMENT? There is no excuse for this serious, purposeful lack of care. ZERO concern was shown for my pain. April 2026, I've been diagnosed with FIBROMYALGIA which Dr Kirschner failed to diagnose or treat because he doesn't believe women's PAIN. Also, I found a female general practitioner who actually helped me, cared about my suffering, believed my symptoms and put me on hormone replacement therapy. The debilitating perimenopause symptoms improved significantly. Dr Kirscner DOES NOT CARE ABOUT WOMEN'S SUFFERING AND PAIN. For 6 years he happily left me to suffer in pain with no pain management. Doctors are, you know....people. You don't want to evaluate them with the callousness with which you might describte, say, a crepe stand. On the flip side, choosing a primary care physician is hard. You have to pick a random name off of a list and suddenly that person is you go-to for every question and ailment. Unlike the crepes, other people's opinions could be really helpful for longer than a few hours... Fortunately for me, Dr. Graziani is a great doctor, so I don't have to stress about the relative ethics of bashing her on a public website. She is kind, thorough, smart, and gets an extra star for being the first doctor in awhile to take an invested interest in my nemesis, migraines. I'd recommend her. I am recommending her. Likewise, other providers have also respected and worked with them in order to help me. The office staff is pleasant, courteous and easy to work with. Insurance coverage has never been a problem. Fees for services not covered by insurance are always clearly stated and discussed. Nurse Practitioner Lela Gould diligently provides ongoing care and treatment which has relieved many of my lifelong health issues. At every visit, she inquires about my general health and overall state of well-being, monitors recommended lifestyle and dietary changes and continues to monitor my body chemistry with appropriate blood tests. She also orders other tests and diagnostic procedures as necessary. Lela has a very caring manor, is extremely knowledgeable and happy to do background research to help me address my unique issues. We've been going to Dr. Lipton for about 20 years now and his evaluations and treatment are spot on. It's a pretty decent drive (distance & timewise) for us but it's worth the trip. His treatments vary per ailment or injury and he always follows up with us on results of scans, tests or blood work. He recommends preventative measures that we find very effective and neither my wife or I take any prescription medications and haven't for almost 20 years. He is very knowledgeable and continues to learn and evolve with the times and we would trust no other doctor as much as Dr. Lipton for advice and treatment.
