There is a small dog park outside for your furry buddy to get some exercise before and/or after their visit. It's very grassy, shady and has a freshwater fountain flowing at all times. Doctor Codd himself is a very caring vet who wants to be sure you are comfortable with whatever decision you are making for your pet, as is his staff. After being turned away by numerous vets for an emergency humane euthanizing because my pet wasn't a "pre-existing patient", Lincoln Road was willing to take on the situation. This ended up being MORE than a good thing as one of the techs had experience in regard to this specific sort of injury. After a few days of rehab with her and a bit of antibiotic treatment, my baby girl Hedy was sent home for weekend observation with me. She is now eating and on her way to a full recovery! I am so glad that they were willing to help and I get more years with my buddy.

Our local shelter fit me in with their vet who gave my dog fluids daily. My dog died and I blame it on Dr Wood for totally disregarding us when we probably could have helped her sooner. This wasn't the first issue, it was actually the fourth. That's my bad. I shouldn't have went back to him after what he had done to my other dog in the past. I like that they are available 24 hours a day for emergencies. My dog has had 2 surgeries to remove cysts and had his teeth cleaned also. My cat had to have a few teeth removed and was in surgery for that as well. The Vet and Vet Tech kept in touch with me during these times and let me know how they were doing. I'm one of those obsessed owners with my pets and they were very knowledgeable and comforting. There are several Vets here. They get the most top notch Vets and yes some of them move after a few years. They relocate to open their own practices or raise their families. Right now our go to Vet is Dr. Jessie. She is the most compassionate Vet I've ever met and I've had animals my entire life. Dr. John is the owner and is fabulous too. I wouldn't hesitate to see any of the Vets on staff. They also have all the pet supplies you need. I buy Science Diet food there for both my dog and cat. I've gotten treats and dental chews, collars and toys. I have found the front of the house staff to be wonderful also. Highly recommend!!

He made rude comments about her being a bit overweight and was oddly surprised at how clean she looked. He suggested a minor procedure but wanted to take her to the back to do it. When I told him, as someone who's worked in the medical field my whole life, that I preferred my pet stay in the room with me, he got upset. The visit was very expensive, and I suspect the clinic is corporate-owned. Please support small, locally owned veterinary clinics--these big corporations are making pet ownership unaffordable, forcing people to choose between going into debt or putting their pets to sleep.
