I'm rewriting this review after having all of my work done. I recommend Dr. Chabrier. If you want to find a doctor in Mexico, I think he might be the best doctor there for this rate. He's also nice, fluent in English, and Quick to reply to emails. His nurses are also nice. He's French, not Mexican. Not that that matters, but his accent is cool. Yelp keeps removing my body pictures. I'm trying to post more again today with a bathing suit on. Dr. Chabrier did surgery on me twice, two weeks apart (I pushed to get these done so close together as I had to move and couldn't miss more than 30 days or work). $6000: The first procedure was a mommy makeover, 20 year old saline breast implants were replaced with silicone ones, I had my first tummy tuck and first BBL, Although I had had extensive liposuction before which unfortunately left me short on available fat. I got one quote in San Diego for 19,000 for this work. For the mommy makeover only, no face work. $4000: for a "feather lift facelift (facelifts includes the neck in Mexico) and fat transfer to the face. I don't recommend this. I think my breasts are a little too low and the right one is an inch lower than the left. I eventually would like him to fix that. Everything has been closed since the quarantine. The feather lift" facelift I got was not what I was disappointing and I do not recommend that procedure. I only got a lift to the ear lobes. I didn't even know that was a thing. Not even the the middle part of my ear, no part of my scalp, JUST the earlobe! I have looked at many photos online and I can't find any photos or notes that mention this facelift procedure that only includes a lift up to the earlobe. Dr. Chabrier also injected fat in my temples and under my eyes and the results have been fantastic. Update: six months later, there doesn't seem to be any fat left In the face at all from those injections unfortunately. The tummy tuck is fine. The scar is high, but I was expecting that because I didn't have a lot of loose skin due to previous abdominal surgeries. I feel like my shape is much improved because of the BBL and lipo. There wasn't enough fat to get ideal results on the BBL, which is one reason why I was asking for a surgical lift. He didn't want to do one because he said when that's done you lose the inward curve Of the lower back above the butt which sounds reasonable. However, the back of my legs, my butt, and my whole back are loose, saggy, and unacceptable to me, not because of work Dr. chabrier did, Just because it wasn't fixed. I wanted more work to be done. I got 240 cc of fat on each side and 1/3 of that is expected to die. Still, I feel even that much gives a much nicer shape. Love the BBl and I sure wish I had enough fat to do it right. I still have tons of dimples on the bottom half and the skin is saggy. He says The best thing for me to do would be to gain 20 pounds, have more liposuction and more fat put into the butt and then lose the weight again. Fat cells don't increase in number only in size. So I wondered how that would work if when I lost the weight they would decrease again in size, but he says that it does work. In Mexico they aren't required to give you your medical records and dr. Chabrier declines to give me before and after photos and my medical records, which I don't understand. I still recommend Dr. Chabrier. If You need a doctor and you want to go to Mexico to save more than 50%, dr. Chabrier is probably the best one for the price. This is based on not only the reviews that I've seen but personal experience having met three other doctors in Mexico.

Part 2- I previously wrote a review about my experience leading up to surgery at Vive Plastic…read moreSurgery, but now that I'm further along in my recovery, I wanted to come back and share my post-op experience because this is where I feel Vive truly stood out. In May, I had a breast lift with new implants, rib luxation, and 360 lipo. From the moment surgery was over, I felt incredibly well cared for. Being able to stay overnight in the hospital with around-the-clock nursing care was so reassuring, especially compared with my previous experiences having surgery in Beverly Hills. The nurses were incredibly kind, attentive, and responsive, and Dr. Alonso and Sergio checked on me the following day. When I first saw my breasts after surgery, I literally thought, "THIS is what I wanted." They were smaller, lifted, round, and proportionate to my body. My waist was already looking SNATCHED and as my swelling has gone down, I've been so happy watching my results continue to develop. I also added Quantum RF to my lipo after Dr. Alonso recommended it, and I'm so glad I did. The recovery house was another huge part of my positive experience. I had a private VIP room, around-the-clock nursing care, fresh meals, transportation, and nurses who stayed on top of my medications and supplements so I could focus entirely on recovering. Rebecca and Stephanie were especially wonderful and I will always remember how caring they were during some of my hardest days. I was originally planning to stay for about two weeks, but I did experience a small complication with one of my breast incisions. I want to be transparent about this because complications can happen with any surgery, regardless of where you have it performed. What mattered most to me was how Vive responded. They did not make me feel abandoned or alone. Instead, they continued caring for me, and I ultimately stayed at the recovery house for approximately one month. During that time, I received hyperbaric chamber treatments every day, and the Vive driver took me to and from my treatments each day. Having transportation arranged for me made such a huge difference because I could focus on resting and recovering instead of worrying about getting to appointments. The daily hyperbaric treatments were an important part of my recovery plan while my incision was healing, and having the Vive team coordinate everything made the entire process so much easier. The aftercare has been EVERYTHING. Even after returning home, I never felt like I was on my own. They continued monitoring me through WhatsApp, and the communication has honestly been 10/10. Nurse Raul and Melissa have been incredibly responsive, and Raul regularly communicates with the doctors and helps answer my questions about my incision, bra, corset, and wound care. I've also received messages directly from Dr. Alonso checking on me. That level of communication made such a huge difference for me. I've already returned to Vive twice for follow-up appointments, and the process has been surprisingly easy. From Los Angeles, I can drive down, cross the border by foot, get picked up by their transportation team, and be in and out of the clinic within about an hour. They make the entire follow-up process incredibly easy and organized. My friends have watched my body change throughout this entire process and constantly tell me how tiny my waist looks and how much better my breasts look. I genuinely feel more confident, feminine, and proportionate. I know people can be nervous about having surgery in Mexico, and I completely understand that. My advice is always to do your research, look at before-and-after photos, read patient experiences, understand the risks, and make the decision that feels right for you. For me personally, even knowing that I experienced a complication, I would still choose Vive again. I'm extremely grateful for the care, communication, results, and support I received throughout my recovery. Thank you to Dr. Alonso, Dr. Mario, Sergio, Nurse Raul, Melissa, all of the nurses, the drivers, and the entire Vive team

The staff were not friendly or reassuring at all. The overall vibe felt cold, robotic, and impersonal, which is the last thing you want when you're about to undergo a major cosmetic procedure. What really concerned me was being told I would not meet my doctor until the actual day of surgery. I was also receiving text messages with surgery instructions while I was literally sitting in the lobby, which made the whole process feel very disorganized and unsettling. Social media can be very deceiving, so I highly recommend visiting any facility in person before committing to surgery. When it comes to cosmetic procedures and your safety, trust your gut. I lost my deposit, but I'm still glad I walked away.

It is a very nice and clean looking hospital, I'm an American who's frequented to mexico/tijuana and I know many Americans hold a stigma against tijuana and mexican doctors in general. Overall I'd say this place gets the job done....but that's it, hence the 3 stars. Yes, she lived and made it through surgery and the results 2 days post op look impressive but the following events with post op were very questionable. First and foremost they offer a companion to come when booking the suite but they have a rule that there's no food or drink allowed in the rooms. They have a cafeteria that's open from 8am-6pm but like...after 6pm are all guests expected to wait 14 hours tills they can eat again? The patient was being brought meals post op as well so there was always food in the room so this rule was very strange to me. Next, most of the staff I encountered was nice! However, our suite was right at the front of the enterance for the floor and RIGHT across from the nurses station. When i say that almost all the nurses there were LOUD and laughing hysterically at almost all hours of the day...im not joking. I work in medical care and that is just so unprofessional! They know they had two people in this room but were still so obnoxious. The patient that brought me booked to stay 2 overnights post op. Not even 24 hours after surgery we had two nurses come in say they are going to shower her and put a body compression on. This was a complete shock to me as she hadn't even been stitched up 24 hours and getting that many open wounds wet is not a good idea. Turns out they thought we were only staying 1 night so they were trying to get her ready for discharge but whether or not she was leaving, getting a person who is in that much fresh pain into a shower with so many new open wounds is just asking for a disaster! Her second night was the worst, she was in very intense pain and could not sleep. As far as I am concerned she wasn't receiving too heavy duty of pain killers, she would get a shot of a substance a couple times a day and then the "pain relief" they periodically gave her through IV was mostly tramadol (a prescription very of aspirin that's just a little stronger) . At about midnight two nurses came in to just move her to help with pain but made it so much worse as 1) she didn't want to be moved and 2) in the commotion of it all one of the male nurses was leaning on her IV causing pain and the pressure literally took both tapes that was securing the iv on her hand right off! At this point she was quite upset that no one was listening to her and she was in a lot of pain! It was very hard as her close friend and medical professional to watch this happen, she was in tears and ready to call her mom to be picked up at 1am. She was clearly very hurt and freaked out and told the nurses they needed to leave. I'm not gonna lie and omit the fact that she yelled at them but when your whole body is in shooting pain in you and people continue to ignore your needs and try to move you, a person will get irritated! After that whole incident it just felt like the whole night staff had something against her and it was very uncomfortable. Luckily a doctor on duty was called up and able to make some stuff happen with the meds to get her to sleep but all that stress they put on her is not good for healing. Overall Dr. Suarez himself was great and very professional and I believe he did a great job on everything. The hospital is a nice establishment and clean. However in my opinion nurses are everything to a hospital, if you don't have compassionate, patient nurses it's not gonna be the best experience as we encountered. I don't want to minimize the many other great and friendly nurses she had but the bad ones really eclipsed all the other good ones. Her coordinator was very friendly and kind and was the only one who was really apologetic about the unprofessional nurses we dealt with that one night. If you are wanting to save the 10k from getting it done in America, just know you are paying for it in the standard of care you receive in this hospital at least.

They were straight out with me and educated me on the procedures and the best way to correct the areas of concern for me. The day of the procedure everything went right on time- hospital staff were friendly the room was very nice even with a bed for my husband to stay over. I was so comfortable and had so much trust on the Dr and his staff. Once I woke up from my procedure I had no pain at all. I initially chose Dr. Castillo with hopes of enhancing my confidence and improving my body image, but the outcome has left me feeling more insecure than ever. From the beginning, I felt that my concerns and desires were not fully understood. Unfortunately, the results of the surgery have been far from what I expected. The size of my breasts is now much smaller than I envisioned, which has left me feeling disproportionate and dissatisfied. Additionally, the incisions made during the procedure were not placed correctly, resulting in visible scars that are particularly problematic when I try to wear low-cut tops. This was a major concern for me, and I feel disappointed that it was not addressed with the precision and care that I expected from a professional of Dr. Castillo's stature. Perhaps most disheartening is the appearance of my nipples. The excess skin around the areola has caused them to look deflated, which has impacted my self-image in a way I never anticipated. Instead of feeling empowered and confident, I now find myself struggling with new insecurities I've never had to deal with before. I hope that others considering surgery with Dr. Rodolfo Castillo Calderón take the time to thoroughly research and consider their options. For me, this experience has been a painful reminder of how important it is to choose a surgeon who truly listens to and understands their patients. I posted the review with pictures to provide a visual but the pictures aren't showing up

I originally added a tummy tuck to help achieve the results I wanted, but I was left with a very uneven abdomen. The right side of my stomach is flat, while the left side still noticeably bulges because little to nothing was removed there. It is visibly uneven. I followed all aftercare instructions exactly as directed, healed well, and gave it plenty of time. After 8 months, when the swelling should no longer be a major factor, I reached out to ask what could be done to correct it. I was then told this happened because Dr. Campos "doesn't do liposuction with tummy tucks." That was never properly explained beforehand, but instead I was told that liposuction is done before tummy tuck and regardless, no patient should be left with such uneven results. What upset me even more was being told I would need to pay another $6,500 to fix the issue after already paying around $11,000 the first time. Not sure if dr.campos even looked at my photos and my concerns or was it the office crew that decided to tell me I have to pay $6,500 to fix this. This is not about unrealistic expectations or simply "not reaching my goal." I understand some cosmetic procedures may require revisions. My concern is that my abdomen was left uneven, which should not happen from a professional cosmetic procedure.
