Our experience with this medical group was so poor that it's hard to know where to begin. My wife's…read morefirst contact with them via an ER was for a kidney stone. What followed was a series of delays, miscommunications, and a complete lack of a care plan. This despite multiple calls and attempts to get appropriate treatment. After several days of inadequate support, her condition worsened into a kidney infection that required hospitalization. She ultimately received proper care from a different urologist, and after three nights in the hospital, she thankfully is recovering well. What prompted me to write this review was the final straw: five days after receiving lab results, someone from this group called in a prescription, without any explanation or communication. We only found out because our pharmacy notified us. No one from the Urology Group reached out to explain what they were prescribing or why. If you're comfortable with delayed care, poor communication, and questionable administrative practices, this may be the place for you. But if your health and standard of care matter to you, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I'd rather travel out of state than trust this group with our health.

A doctor didn't come in and tell me about after care, medication, nothing. I literally had to figure it all out myself by going on Reddit. And I don't think this is some freak occurrence either. When I called later that day and told them that nobody talked to me after the surgery, they weren't surprised or apologetic. A receptionist just told me that they'd "send a message" and told me to use a heating pad. At this point, I've given up on talking to a doctor about anything, but unfortunately I need to schedule another appointment to get a stent removed. This has also been an absolute nightmare. I've called at least once a day every day since the surgery to try to get the removal scheduled, but nobody is able to get a hold of a scheduler I guess. Finally after some pushing, I was able to get the direct line for a scheduler and was able to leave a message, but still no luck on scheduling the actual procedure. If you are able to, please go literally anywhere else if you need any kind of follow up appointment. ESPECIALLY a stent removal. The stents are painful and it's pretty much impossible to do anything while having one in, so getting it out in a timely manner is very important. I have never felt so ignored and dismissed by a medical professional in my life and I hate that I didn't read any reviews before going through The Urology Group for my surgery.

Didn't give a flip whether or not my son understood clearly anything. We basically googled all the info. Day of, we arrive to the place and my son is checking in. His wife and I are lingering behind waiting and some window clerk states 'I can help the next person'. Nobody came up and she rudely yelled it again and then I realized she was directing her voice to us. Where were her basic manners??! They didn't exist. They take him back and inform us the dr will be about 30 mins behind. He was schedule for 2pm and he didn't go for his surgery until after 430pm? No apologies. Nothing. Doc comes in and is like 'do you have any questions?' I wasn't in the room but are you serious right now?? I would expect a dr to come in, apologize, explain again what he's about to do and how the rest of the day will play out. Nope. He wasn't given an RX in advance and as a Result of them being extremely late he won't be able to fill it until tomorrow. It's for pain so to me that's unacceptable. They didn't give him anything to hold him over for the night. Then after recovery a very rude Angie RN was in the room trying to get him out, not having a single concern for him but clearly more worried about ending her work day. Avoid this place at all costs.

It's that damn window on the southeastern corner (faces toward Chipotle and towards Burnet Avenue). I do not like any building where I have the ability to look almost STRAIGHT down and see pavement. This is that kind of place. My doctor, specifically urologist Dr Krishnanath Gaitonde, is on the SEVENTH floor. 70 feet straight above Piedmont Avenue. I don't like this, but since it is most convenient to where I live in NKY, I come to this location. It's better than driving from Florence to West Chester at 8:00 AM. Again, this is NOT an indictment on the doctors here, as my urologist is great. He did a great job with a recent surgery I had, so that's the plus as far as sticking with him. But that window... I sincerely hope that if you have an appointment here, you're not here to see someone for balance problems or afraid of heights. Because if you are, take my advice and DON'T LOOK DOWN.

I have found the skill and knowledge of the doctors at UC Physicians to be absolutely top tier…read more The doctors continuously impress me with their knowledge of current medical research and minimally invasive treatment methodologies. Despite having moved from Cincinnati to Louisville I still drive to Cincinnati to see my doctors at UC Physicians becaus their knowledge far surprasses any other physicians that I have encountered. Five stars almost isn't enough for these physicians.

I liked that I was able to book my appointment directly through the MyChart app. I also love that all my blood work/tests show directly through the app as well. The receptionist at the desk was very friendly and checked me in quickly. It was great that I was able to fill out all the paperwork online before arriving so I didn't have to do that while I waited. Sarah, my doctor's assistant is truly a rockstar human and was so much fun to talk to. I'm quite the anxious person, so it's always great to talk to someone who can put you to ease in a stressful environment. I'm feeling super grateful to have insurance and a primary care provider. If you haven't been to a doctor in awhile, go be proactive and look out for your health!

He is thorough, kind, and knows what you need when you're too embarrassed to ask. Best doctor I've ever had.
