Great front office, typical forms, but very welcoming. Called back to see the Doc. Greets you with a confident handshake and a big Texas smile. Looks at history, then looks at you. Asks a lot of questions and give him the truth. Set up for surgery within 2 weeks, they called and updated on time of surgery. Pre-Op was normal. Doc answered all our questions. Post surgery was admit for overnight. Next morning, Doc comes in debriefs all, and releases. I have all the faith in the world, and would recommend him to family and friends.

She asked who they were and I told her I didn't really know since it was years ago and as it was a routine process where I had MRIs, blood work etc., so I didn't know who it was since the cardiologist was picked for me. She said since I could not remember, I could not be seen because there is certain cardiologist whose patients he would not treat if they had been seen by them since they might work together? I asked, "so he won't see me", "what am I supposed to do since I did not remember", and she said those were the rules and she didn't make them but that's how it was done here. She was very flip and when I got flustered and told her it took me a long time to decide I needed to see a cardiologist she started talking in a bright, cherry, and dismissive voice, said "I hope you have a great day and thanks for calling." Her whole tone throughout the conversation was as if I was bothering her and condescending. There must be something wrong with me since I don't know who cleared me for my surgeries. I hope she was just in a bad mood and doesn't really treat and talk to all new callers just wanting to get some help.

Amanda has helped me by tackling my multiple issues one step at a time. She has really listened! I'm mean listened! This day and age I feel Dr and Nurses just don't go out of there way as much to really focus on what the patients are saying when I have had horrible moments of pain and crisis. I have a rare condition that I am currently in remission but the turn around has caused many issues with my nerves, muscles and bones. This past year I have had many huge obstacles and a roller coaster of pain. Amanda has been holding my hand the whole way!! From the very first visit I was so amazed that she gave me her time and knowledge to talk with me and really spend time getting to know my history and doing her best to help me through the the muddy waters with my pain. This was my very first pain management Dr and Rn I have gone to and I will never switch. So now a full year has passed and she has gotten me from crawling to walking all due to her diving in to help me with a tremendous amount of through navigating my heap of medical issues.
