This has been a game changer in the most real and amazing ways. I had an incident a year ago causing nerve damage to my left leg, leaving my foot and parts of my leg numb, tingling with extraordinary pain, and useless. I spent many sleepless nights screaming in agony into a pillow... and I'm being very literal when l say that. Doctors said it was possible i would never gain any feeling or mobility in that leg again. I recently began acupunture with Tara Perry and I cannot say enough great things about her work and the results. After just 3 sessions, the range of motion in my ankle and foot (the most damaged area) has dramatically increased both in muscle activation and stretching ability. The damage done from the incident caused drop-foot as well and until recently, I wore a brace for walking support and to keep my foot from hanging and causing it to drag or catch the ground, which can lead to further injury to the affected area or a whole seperate injury. Needless to say, I no longer wear the brace now and am able to walk with confidence and almost no limp, ride bike, dance, etc. and all-in-all live a more enjoyable life. The treatment given by Tara is top-notch and on top of that, she is very knowledgable and truly cares for your well-being. I leave there each time feeling more and more physically AND mentally stronger, uplifted, and with a true sense of peace and progress. I feel blessed to have had my path cross her and look forward to continuing because based on my experience so far, the results and progress in the short time I've been treated by Tara have exceeded any expectations or thoughts of the possibilities going into it. These treatments have been a miracle! My 63 year old husband suffered a stroke five months ago which compromised his left leg and left arm. He was placed in a rehab nursing facility for a month where all of the efforts were focused on his leg until he was able to walk enough to discharge him. There was not much effort focused on his left arm, so it had become very rigid and curled, purplish and rather cold to the touch. He was not able to move his fingers or hand at all. After the very first acupuncture session with Tara, his pain (which had been constant since the stroke) went away and did not come back! He slept through the night for the first time in months without waking up in pain. The color of his arm become normal again and regained it's normal warmth. By the end of the second session, he was able to squeeze my hand. Something he had not been able to do since the stroke. He is also falling much less and seems to have better stability in his legs. I know Tara has been doing acupuncture for many years and we, (my husband, myself and my family and friends) are so excited with the results with only 3 sessions with her, and we are looking forward to seeing how much continued recovery we can achieve! This is an unsolicited statement about the treatment I received from Ms. Tara Perry at AcuVitale. After flying fighters in the USAF for 20 years I have suffered from lower back pain for the last twenty years. The only option my MD presented me was painkillers with some bad side effects. Rather than take the medicine I chose to endure the pain. I went to AcuVitale and after the first treatments I noticed a huge improvement in my quality of life.just In addition to eliminating my chronic pain the treatments relieved most of the pain in my torn Achilles tendon. The combination of these to outcomes allowed me to get back to my "old" workout routine. In the last month the lack of back pain has allowed me to get on the treadmill without pain so I am on it 2-3 nights a week in addition to Karate night. I can also lift weights more frequently. I have lost 10 pounds in the last month without drastic dieting or any other non sustainable weight loss plan. I've also lost over an inch around my waist.
