They did not make ANY contact prior to the filing deadline to let us know the status. I called the Monday taxes were due only to be told they THOUGHT they had filed an extension (they had all the paperwork March 28). A second phone call that week finally secured a mailed copy of the extension. Then I call on a Thursday in May asking what was going on. They again THOUGHT our taxes would be ready to file some time the following week. Tuesday was Election Day & I informed them I was off work & planned on being in their office that day to sign paperwork. That was at 2PM on Thursday. At 9AM on Friday our taxes were magically ready to be signed. Charged $270. Then when I ask how many hours were put into it, the manager in the Evansville office has to call me because they don't know at the Owensboro office. She tells me she thinks it is 3 or 4 hours - that the accountant keeps track of that. Needless to say we will not be using the company next year. You can drive by the office during tax season & not a single car is in the lot after 5PM. There is no accountability or communication. I would be fired from job for that. Place has gone downhill since the original owners left.
