Frequently open during the day time this restaurant is also a candidate for lunch. It's possible to pick up some English snacks at this time with dishes like steak and kidney pie and the old favourite - fish and chips. It is the Chinese cuisine, however, that really stands out and is worth making the trip for.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming, and I would go back just to be treated like that. I have to be honest about the restaurant itself, it is very 'modern' with wooden benches, white walls, lime green and yellow lights and some people might find this quite a cold environment to spend an evening in, possibly better for lunchtime. It smells a bit funny and there's always a slightly dodgy vibe about the place. Sometimes I have been here and picked up some really delicious food. With a huge menu of nearly as many dishes as pubs called The Red Lion, some selections stand out a league above the rest - the 'crispy shredded beef with salt, chilli and garlic' for instance, or the 'beef curry pastries'. There's wide choice across the board from beef, through pork, chicken and fish to vegetarian. There's a wide selection of chilled drinks and a good array of magazines and books whilst you wait.
