The boyff changes it up every time so he has tried many dishes from here and is yet to have a bad one. The food is not greasy as can sometimes be the case with other Chinese takeaways. You can tell it is really fresh and not just cooked then double fried or heated. You also get the food in the cute little boxes which is a nice touch. I think that the pricing is very good also. However, the service was never that great to begin with and this is something that has slipped even further over the past few months. The young man serving me tonight served my water in a coffee mug, handed me my cutlery and plate after touching their 'eating' surfaces with his hands, and had his thumb in my food when it was served. He also did not know what, if any deals, the restaurant was running that evening. The food was ok. The Egg Fried Rice was a good portion and tasted quite good but Sweet and Sour Chicken was dry and not well balanced in flavour. I had such high hopes for Pangs when it moved to the High Street but I feel quite let down by my recent experiences there. I hope they can pull it together as there are already quite a few Chinese restaurants on the road and I might have to rethink where I get my Chinese from in the future. A zero for customer service because any reasonable business would have taken into account that this is a first visit and just 35 minutes after their cutoff time. I do have to confess that they were polite, and the food was reasonably good. Not excellent though.
