This 'company' sent me a snarky message on ebay…read morebecause I politely explained why I choose to message sellers instead of using the 'offer' option. I even double-checked because his response made me wonder if it was against the ebay policy. It is not. I am currently working 7 days a week - sometimes 12 - 16 hour days (across multiple time zones) - and yet, I still manage to keep my temper and be civil and polite to friends, family and other human beings I come in contact with. My work schedule and sleep schedule are erratic - so using the 'offer system' isn't effective for me - because there's a chance the seller will accept my offer and I won't have an opportunity to login and check my ebay messages for days (don't have the app and can't always carve out time to login on tablet or laptop) - so I won't know the offer has been accepted. I explained that I've never encountered an issue like this - thanked him for responding and considered the matter settled. Today - I discover a message from him criticizing my CHOICE and insulting me. I contacted eBay and the representative accessed the messages. She said that it appeared that the seller had violated policy by using unprofessional language and suggested that I report the seller for unprofessional / abusive messages. I submitted a report, but I decided to also share this experience on Yelp and Facebook. Horrible.
