From pre-surgery to post-op, he was always reachable, assuring, and made what could've been a terrible ordeal an easy and calm process. I highly recommend Dr. Johnson and his staff. I had to miss school because of the surgery and his nursing staff made sure I had all of the necessary documentation and sent even more doctors notes when I had complications with teachers. Overall, Dr. Johnson is great at what he does and would be my top choice again.

This is one of the offices of Dr. Jesse Phillips. I heard the receptionist on the phone leaving…read moremessage for people reminding them of their appointments in the Bedford office, so I think he has at least two offices. I have mixed feelings about my experience. I was in the office for approximately 2 hours, which comprised of 20 minutes of interaction time (10 with nurse and 10 with doctor) and therefore about an hour and a half of waiting time with a little variety thrown in as 5-10 minutes of that was spent filling out paperwork. The doctor apologized for the wait, and I asked if they were running late today. He said yeah, but having briefly looked at reviews before going, I got the sense this wasn't unusual. While I was annoyed with the wait, I am torn about the review because the doctor was pretty great. He only needed few minutes to tell me that my nose was healing fine and then he answered all my questions. When we talked more at the end, he said it's his philosophy to ensure every patient gets their questions answered and leaves feeling like they have a good understanding. While that's great, I imagine it causes the delay. Another detail to note is that the office is just kind of "tired" looking. The decor and furniture felt kind of old. I don't usually mind that, but I feel like newer, modern design in medical situations gives a (perhaps false) feeling that the place is sterile. I have no reason to believe this place wasn't, but I just felt slightly less comfortable. For all the people who are part of the IU community and on the Aetna insurance, this doctor is in the network and not very far from campus. So, worth the wait? I'm not sure. Probably depends on your needs and time.
