First of all, the entire staff-- from the first young lady who took my call to the receptionists that I saw weekly to the OT, Kathy Jo, who planned and worked my treatment--was professional and kind. I never waited more than 3-4 minutes to get started and always felt like I was progressing. I felt like Kathy Jo knew just how far to push me, not letting me take the easy way out, but also reading my needs. I had "homework" to do which I did gladly. I'm sharing my appts with another OT now, Lynn, and I find her knowledgeable as well. I'm happy I made this choice.

When I called and asked if they had a PT program for my condition, they did not but where confident they could 'come up with something' to fit the condition. Strike one! Already I was a bit skeptical. When I told them what I was looking for, in regards to modalities, to accompany my PT program, they didn't have them and tried to talk me out of asking for those. Strike two! I wanted to schedule an appointment to just see how things were at this place, but they were into high-pressure tactics and said that they would only see me to do an initial intake consultation, which was not free. They told me to bring my script with me, but the doctor did not issue one (and I'll explain in a second why). All of a sudden, they couldn't see me or take me on as a PT client until I had a script. I called my doctor's office and was stunned to learn that this Crossroads was lying to me!! My doctor's office informed me that my state was a Direct Access State for PT and that a script was not needed. I called Crossroads back and confronted them with the fact that they lied to me about this. All of a sudden the owner/main PT got on the phone and oh how the story changed - "Well, while it is true that a script is not required, we still like to have one." I told him he was breaking the law in my state by forcing people to bring in a script when it was not needed. Strike three! STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. Also, they were one of the highest priced PT centers in my area. They billed you for ever 15 minutes you were actually there. Ridiculous!! If your insurance doesn't cover PT or you don't have insurance, be prepared to shell out A LOT of money to go here! They clearly were in the business to rake in the moolah. When I asked about a cash-paying patient discount, as I learned other PT centers in my area offered that, they said that they would not do that. It was full price or no services at all. Everything was billed piecemeal. VERY EXPENSIVE. Do yourself a favor and shop around before you go with this place for your PT needs.

This is a hard review to write. But 365 Hospice was nothing but a blessing for my family. We had…read morebeen on a rollercoaster of a ride with everything that had gone on and were worse for the wear when it came to coming to terms with care for my mom. We had no idea what to expect because it happened all so fast. 365 came in and took over care from another service at the suggestion of the family doctor. From the moment they came to access and determine a plan of action, they were nothing but caring and supportive. They understood what me and my family were dealing with and were doing what they were trained to do to help us cope. They weren't with us a long time, but the time that they were with us they helped my mom the best they could and made my family feel like people again. We weren't given any answers we weren't prepared to handle and they answered them with grace. Even when it came to dealing with my dad who can be a bit crass at times and you have to wrangle him in. Eventually, and this should come as no shock if you understand what hospice care is, they were there with us at the end. They handled it with the utmost respect and allowed my family and I to take it in and grieve. I can't say enough of how graceful they were. You have to be a special kind of person to be in this line of work. My family and I are very grateful that we had who we had when we needed them.

Had 365 come and add my my dad to their service, a USA Marine veteran who serve in the Korean War,…read morehe walked, talked and could feed his self then, has dementia and alzhimer and could no longer be left alone for obvious reasons decided it was time for a nursing home and 365 was all for this, and the VA would help with the bill, after 8 months, 365 pull out and cancel our service and left us in such a horrible situation. Thank God there are better hospice groups in cambria County. Dad can't do anything now and that's how 365 left us!

Apparently, they do not accept appointments by phone; instead only people with smart phones and the internet can access care here. And yes, some people do exist who don't have those things. Anyway, the woman on the phone said the online scheduling was necessary to prevent people with COVID from entering the office. If we are still trembling in fear of a scam-demic then at this point I don't know what to say. I bet these are the type of tyrants who probably refused to treat the filthy unvaccinated at one point. The woman on the phone was absolutely belligerent and hung up on me. Thinks not the only podiatry office in Johnstown so I'll be taking my business elsewhere. If you are elderly or disabled and cannot make an appointment electronically, find a more compassionate doctor who is willing to be more accessible to you.
