With 50-plus years as an established medical practice, Orthopaedic Institute of Dayton is the oldest and most respected orthopedic practice in the region. The practice began in 1971 as Dayton Orthopaedic Associates in a downtown location with only two doctors, Dr. Pietro Seni and Dr. Daniel Camacho. In the early years, their doctors were general orthopaedists. However, Dr. Camacho wanted to limit his practice to hand surgery. When I requested test results be faxed to a new doc and a disk with my MRI results be sent to me, the doc did not get the report and I did not get the disk despite being told the disk was mailed first class. I Called Humana and reported them most people don't check their bills to see the over charge. Did not do anything to help my knee other than x-rays will not be going back there.

Dr. Cook did my right shoulder replacement in 2007 and I am an amputee of my left hand and I a very grateful to him because I can use my right arm without any pain. He also did my wife's knee replacement in 2010 and she is very happy with him. Dr. Tigyer did my C4-C5 surgery and I am very glad he joined the team. In addition all the staff there are great very helpful and friendly, especially Dawn and Lacey at the front desk. I highly recommend them to anyone.
