My wife and I contacted this business to give us recommendations for wooden deck and stairs repairs. Terry and Tom came to our location, explained needed repairs, provided an estimate and date to begin repairs, in October 2025. Terry and Tom later showed up and completed repairs the following day.
I asked Terry how he would dispose of the debris from the repairs and he said his plan was to burn it. I asked where and he pointed to the lot next door. I told him that was a public easement, plus there was a countywide burn ban in place.
He then said to haul the debris to the landfill, but I had no way to do that. He said he and Tom could haul it, but wanted me to pay for that. I told him he did not bid the job without debris removal, and he reluctantly did haul away the debris.
After examining the work, my wife and I noticed one of the rails was cut too short and there was a wooden patch put in, but the seams would allow water seepage into the wood below. I called Terry and he asked for a photo, which I sent to him via text. I asked him for repair date and he texted that Tom's dad was hospitalized. I never heard more and the first week of March this year I inquired again and Terry said that he and Tom would return on March 9.
When they arrived, I noticed there were no construction or replacement supplies in the pickup. Terry asked "Why are we here?" I explained again the photo and description of needed work he earlier had agreed to do, but he conveniently forgot the reason for repair.
After Terry and Tom looked at the patched spot, Terry said they would return on the following Monday, March 16, to repair the patch. However, they did not return. I then followed up repeatedly with Terry via text, phone and email to see why he and Tom did not return. I have not received any response.
Bottom line on dealing with Dream Decks by T&T Services is "buyer beware" as the firm does not honor its promises and obligations. Timely communication always is lacking. read more
