I got "The Works" which includes the corn maze, pumpkin patch (+ pumpkin) and a couple rounds with the corn cannon ($18). I came here for the Corn Maze and I was not disappointed. The maze is huge, and I got lost pretty fast. There's signs throughout the maze with clues. If you pick the right answer to the question on the sign, you'll progress through the maze. If you pick the wrong answer, you'll go in circles. It was fun trying to find our way, but after running into the same two signs 3-4x we decided to pull out our phone GPS to lead us the right way. After that, we finally broke out of the loop and found the exit! (We finished the maze in 1 hour). After that, we got a tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch and picked out a pumpkin to take home. It seemed a little small at first, but there were probably over 100 pumpkins in the little patch. It was a hot day so I went to the concessions stand to purchase a fruit/icy smoothie which was pretty decent (taste/pricing). I loved shooting the corn cannon, and watching the corn fly hundreds of yards across the field. I have terrible aim but it was tons of fun! Overall, I'd definitely recommend planning a visit out here during the fall. The corn maze is very well done and a great way to challenge yourself! We popped in here one evening with some friends to check out what this House of Axe is all about…read more When you first walk in there is a counter set up where you can let them know what you'd like to do. So, for example they have about 8 or 10 lanes for throwing axes .... you'll need to sign a waver (watch some youtube videos and you'll understand why - but don't let that prevent you from going). Brief instruction and you're off and throwing. A few different techniques, two handed, one handed .... then it just get's more complex. The key - wrists have to stay straight, if they turn it'll put an angle on the axe blade and add a level of difficulty in getting it to stick. Once you're done chopping some wood, they have a few arcade games, pool tables, a basketball game - and a few other things. Kind of a fun way to spend a couple hours and a little bit different then all the other normal stuff around. If you're looking for something a little different, check these guys out. Good fun!

Determined to restore the natural balance, the fearless and newly elected Homeowner Association (HOA) president, my beloved honey, spearheaded the quest for a solution. She invested many hours into research, with a little help from yours truly, exploring various methods to combat the stubborn algae. Finally, a promising answer emerged, the introduction of White Amur Grass Carp to the ponds. These fascinating creatures are known for their algae-eating prowess, making them an ideal candidate to tackle the overgrowth. However, as an invasive species, the White Amur Grass Carp had the potential to disrupt the local ecosystem if not managed properly. But my honey's diligence and wisdom prevailed. After extensive consultations with experts, it was decided that these fish, when introduced to the closed system pond, would not pose a threat to the environment. She contacted them, ordered the fish and we picked them up at Robertsdale Feed and Seed on the arranged date and time. We brought those dozen fish back and ceremoniously released them, wished them well and hope we have a mutually rewarding and beneficial outcome. Bottom line: The folks at Alabama Fish & Pond were professional, friendly and very knowledgeable and took great care of our needs. The people are friendly, it's across the street from loves gas station. Close to hotels, Walmart & fast food. The parking area has quite a few bumps & a few patches that need to be worked on. After the finish line if you don't want to make the first turn you have plenty of shut down. The return road is a mile long LoL plenty of parking & great communication. We will be back.
