There was a microwave, fridge and a ton of TV channels. For breakfast they out out prepackaged Little Debbie style items. There was also coffee available and they had a kettle to boil water, if you want it. The mattress was surprisingly comfortable. It appeared to have a memory foam top. Noise did travel from the room above as they were up and showering at 3 am! I'd recommend asking for an upstairs room. Though, admittedly, I'm the only one out of 4 of us that heard it. I booked a Hillsdale College Cruise through this agency. They recommended I buy my trip insurance…read morethrough their vendor AIG Brand. The Cruise filed for bankruptcy and went out of business. I filed my trip insurance claim with AIG. I heard nothing from them for 30 days. I called them and they said They didn't know if I would be reimbursed. Called Global Tracks. They intervened and I received an e-mail from AIG asking me to have my credit card company reimburse me. I told them my credit card company is not an insurance company and they will not reimburse for charges made with a company no longer in operation. It's been 75 days now and I've had to file a claim in bankruptcy court against the cruise line. Literally looking at cents on the dollar. Global Tracks can't understand why my credit card company won't reimburse me. I told them I bought trip insurance for a reason from a vendor they recommended. I was told that if I got reimbursed by the Trip Insurance and the Bankruptcy Court it wouldn't be fair to their vendor. I told Global Tracks if the trip insurance did reimburse me I would drop my bankruptcy claim. What happened to customer service? I'm out $7,400 plus trip insurance due to a crooked vendor recommended by this company. Thank you Global Tracks for your diligence and vetting of trip insurance vendors. A total nightmare.

In a few minutes we learned about ghost towns, mines, trains, minerals, and much more, all subjects we were interested in. They have a huge map on the wall that illustrates just how much there is to do all over Colorado. I live in Colorado, and was amazed at how many worthy attractions I didn't know about. Highly recommended, and well worth a stop.

At each National Park we visit with our kids we inquire about the Jr. Ranger Program and our six year old had a fun time filling it out and learning about the Great Sand Dunes to earn her badge. I will say, as a parent, you end up learning a lot too which is always fun. Inside this visitor's center there is a small museum display that talks about the flora and fauna of the park, and the history of the region. You'll also find a big display that shows the current weather and a few rangers that are there to answer questions. This visitor's center also had a small but mighty gift shop. All in all a great little first stop on our way into the park.

A decent-sized bookstore with nice souvenirs - if you collect pressed pennies, they don't have a machine but do sell the GSDNP pennies already pressed. Step outside the back, you'll find a nice overlook of the park and the dunes - a little sneak peek of what's to come. Nice & clean bathrooms - always a treat. They also have free Wi-Fi. Plenty of parking in the lot, and it's a short few miles from the parking lot for the main dunes. Great stop to learn some more information about the park before you start your day.

Xscape got a negative review that had nothing to do with the travel agency services provided by Xscape Travel. Sorry to see how these social media review forums are unjustly spreading rumors about credible businesses and services.

Not a traveler but a former tenant. Greediest landlord I've ever had. Which is almost as bad as him…read moreinvading my privacy. He went inside my apt without any notice or permission just to see if I had a bed or not. That is NOT an emergency reason to enter a residence and is illegal for him to do so. He then insisted on putting a bed inside while I was at work rather than just waiting for me to be at home. I felt like he was just snooping and it made me feel unsafe and like I had zero privacy in my own home. When I asked if I could leave before the lease ended, he said he would keep my deposit and demand I stay until the end of January rather than leave in Dec like I wanted to. Or sue me for the rest of the lease. So I didn't get to move when I wanted to. When I asked about putting in a washer and dryer he said he'd raise the rent by $20. I spend MAYBE $20 a month at the laundromat..why would I pay that at home? In the end, I didn't owe him any rent at all and left the place superbly clean but he still kept part of my deposit. There was NO REASON to short me on my deposit. But hey, I'm just a cancer patient and barely make enough money as is, so I guess as a business owner he needed my money more than I do. That's called being greedy, plain and simple.

My only concern was the employee who came in and out a few times with no mask and the live in dog who growled at my dog who wasn't even in the building. Also, I have severe allergies to anything other than a very few tyes. Other than that it was really quite nice.
