I had an excellent experience with both Luis and the entire Canopy team. Luis took the time to meet with me in person and make sure I saw all of the tile colors and samples before making my decision. He was communicative and responsive throughout the entire process, the end result was perfect, and the price was very reasonable. Recently, I had a leak coming from an area under a flat roof that Canopy had not installed. I contacted the roofer who had done that portion of the roof to help diagnose and fix the issue, but unfortunately had a very frustrating experience (which I reviewed separately). I immediately called Luis to see if he could offer any advice or point me in the right direction. Luis answered the phone right away and, almost THREE years later, remembered me and addressed me by name. Even though this wasn't a part of the roof Canopy had installed--and they don't even do TPO flat roofs--Luis immediately offered to come to my house and help me figure out what was going on. He spent over an hour with me, listening carefully to what had happened, getting up on the roof to investigate, and helping me systematically test different areas with a hose to try to identify the source of the leak. After we thoroughly investigated the issue, he even offered to help me get a quote for the repair through a partner contractor who specializes in flat roofs. I am incredibly grateful not only for the quality of Canopy's work, but for the exceptional and genuinely personal customer service. The fact that Luis was willing to spend so much time helping me with an issue that wasn't even related to the roof Canopy installed says everything about the kind of company they are. I would absolutely recommend Canopy Roofing and Luis to anyone looking for a roofer. It's rare to find this level of professionalism, responsiveness, and personal care.

Replacement of a large roof is messy work and Jason Caston and his crew took measures to protect our landscaping, driveways and pool and deck areas - everyday. Recently we noticed a leak from a bathroom ceiling! Jason responded immediately and after a thorough examination it turned out our the sealing of our stone/coral chimney (40 years old) had finally succumbed to age. Water was leaching through the chimney seams. Prior to ascertaining it was the chimney and completely repairing that leak, Jason and his team did meaningful replacement work of a section of our roof which proved unnecessary. His company probably spent 6 full days in repairing the roof (unnecessary) and the chimney. He replaced the bathroom ceiling and repainted that room! Since having our roof done, we've dealt with constant leaks. Those leaks have damaged a TV and a PlayStation, ruined a couch, and I even lost an entire tank of fish after leak water fell in and contaminated it. And it's not just me: out of six townhouses in our row, five have suffered leaks, two with substantial property damage. They advertise a long warranty and the pricing is attractive, but that's exactly the trap. You can't reasonably expect to enjoy that warranty when the leaks never stop. They've come out to "repair" for over a year now, and honestly it feels less like fixing the problem and more like doing just enough to avoid redoing the actual work. Just last week they were next door working on my neighbor's leak -- I confirmed with her afterward that she's still leaking, and her damage is terrible. As I write this it's raining lightly, and I'm watching a new leak in a spot they've already "fixed" more than three times. My honest advice: look at other options. It may cost more up front, but you'll be paying for peace of mind, and that's worth it. The only reason this is 2 stars and not 1 is that there is, technically, still a roof over my head.

After countless calls to Marta Pimentel--who provided the quote for the work and arranged the contracts with Luis Pimentel's company--they stopped taking my calls and began screening them through an employee named Nicole. They claim the HOAs are not cooperating with them, but I confirmed via phone and email with the HOAs that, after seven months, they are still waiting to receive the required documentation from the contractor.
