So let me start by saying this is my first tattoo. I have no previous experience. All I had to go off to find shops was other peoples reviews and experiences so I feel like I owe at least that much for others. The space here is truly amazing. You can see all of the artists works on the walks and it was open and welcoming. There was AC and it just all felt very breatheable in there. You can see everyone getting their work done and it's honestly great. It was so so clean. Everything is unwrapped in front of you and sanitation is the number one priority. My artist was Jazmine Santiago. And holy sh**, I couldnt have been more lucky. First of all, my tattoo was a complete Walk-In. No appointment. But i came in for my consultation and showed her the work I wanted done. She had another appointment for another tat but she was generous enough to fit me in the best she could because it was my birthday. She was super nice and welcoming. And she was so efficient with the work. She did everything in a little under 2 hours, but that included a break. The line work is great and its exactly what I gave her. Line work is so important when picking an artist and I couldnt have been happier with it. Overall my tattoo was $200 but that included tip. Originally $160 My girlfriend is coming in a few weeks to get her work done and I will definitely be coming back. read more

What an incredible experience. I get my haircut at the Black Comb barbershop, and when I asked the crew there who did the best tattoo work in Lancaster, Nate recommended Sol at Dreams Collide. So I went in and spoke with Sol, described what I wanted, and made an appointment. Let me say, the shop is spotlessly clean. I mean, it's as clean as the House of Tattoos in Amsterdam, which until yesterday was the cleanest I've ever been in (and the Dutch, they are cleanliness fanatics). The space is open, with several tattooers working at the same time. They're professional, courteous and friendly. Sol puts you at ease instantly. He's a talented artist who knows how to design and apply a tat. I wanted a custom, but old school, rose with a banner that said "Mom." When he showed me the design, it was exactly what I had in mind. Go in for a consultation ready to put a deposit down. Reed takes photos and then decides "nah, I won't get a deposit from you today", which really meant "I have no intention of putting the work into the coverup you want and therefore I will go radio silent for three weeks with no update whatsoever". I was told he does his sketches on Sun/Mon, well it's now been three weeks with zero update and needless to say I am taking business elsewhere. I should've known that when he saw the complexity of the coverup that he wouldn't be able to handle it, but when he said he wasn't going to take a deposit that was pretty much the nail in the coffin that he wasn't going to do it. That's fine... I took my business elsewhere. If you're unable to do something that detailed just come outright and say it. His Instagram showed multiple openings for walk-ins but you can't be arsed to work with someone willing to pay thousands? Your loss. read more

Went in to get a memorial tattoo the day my friend passed away. Mike did my work, a snowflake on my right calf. It was about 2 hours of work. It got super infected and I went back a week later to be told it was fine. Ended up in the hospital on massive antibiotics and was told that it hadn't been shaved the right way and he went way too deep. It's a shame cuz the shop is gorgeous and I've seen great work come out of there. I don't know if I'll ever go back since my piece is so scarred but I wouldn't judge you if you did. read more

Wes did amazing work. The line work is spot on, the color is vibrant, and nothing is blown out. He really worked with the contour of my body to make this tattoo look awesome on me. My best friend and I went here back in March 2019 to get matching tattoos. We researched tattoo shops in the area and then artists and we picked Dreams Collide and specifically Jazmin because her work looked amazing and supposedly she was good at fine lines. The tattoo we picked was a relatively small celtic heart looking design. I got mine on my wrist and my friend got hers on her back. I have 4 other tattoos and my friend has 5 other ones. The first thing we noticed right off the bat was how extremely painful Jazmin's tattooing was. Much more painful than any of my other tattoos and my friend said it was even more painful than when she got one on her ribs. The second thing we noticed was how long it took. Again, this was a really small tattoo - I have ones bigger than this that didn't take long at all and this took forever. Regardless, we both shook it off and went home happy to have something to commemorate our lifelong friendship. Over the course of the next couple of days we both felt like our tattoos weren't healing right. I emailed Jazmin several times about it and she assured me everything was ok. Finally after a few weeks when our tattoos were fully healed, I could see that my tattoo clearly wasn't right. The entire area had a blue/gray hue to it, and the lines of the tattoo looked like they were bleeding outside the confines of the design. My friend said her tattoo was doing the same exact thing. I again emailed Jazmin about it and she said that "sometimes that happens on wrists because the skin is so thin". Well, I had a tattoo on my other wrist which had no problem, and again, my friend got her tattoo on her back where the skin isn't thin. We both consulted with another tattoo artist for answers. We went into another shop and TWO tattoo artists looked at Jazmin's work and said she caused what is called a "blow out." It happens when the artist goes too deep and spending too long in the same area. This explained why we both thought this tattoo was so painful and took forever. The "blow out" is when the ink is pushed deeper into the layers of skin than required and causes the lines of the tattoo to become blurry and the area looks blotchy. This was EXACTLY how both of our tattoos looked. We were told the only way to fix a blowout is to have it tattooed over or removed. We were also told that we'd have to wait a year before tattooing over it. I immediately emailed Jazmin about this and sent photos of what she did to us as proof. She evidently recognized her mistakes as she issued both of us full refunds. At this point I had just decided to let it go. However, here I am...5 months later looking at this mess on my wrist which I swear looks even worse than before and I'm livid. Yes she refunded us, but I have to look at this mess and live with it for the rest of my life. I also have to incur the additional expenses of either getting it removed or tattooing over it to fix it. Jazmin ruined what was supposed to be a special moment of someone who I consider a sister and I commemorating a lifelong friendship. What a disaster. read more

Recently on a Friday expecting to be there for hours ,was surprised that it only took 1 1/2 hours for Sam to perform him magic. The best and most detailed tattoo I have ever had. The comments this week were unreal. A Celtic cross with a large shamrock and the fine lines and detail has gotten rave reviews. Can't wait to get the next one, whatever it may be.
