Amazing store! Great hoodies, stones and jewelry. The Ladie who owns it is willing to make deals as well!

OMG HEAVEN! How…read moreabsolutely cute is this place. AMAZING selection of clothes and shoes, jackets and hats.....you could swim in the amazingness. The owner is outrageously cute and helpful and will pick up a few things to help you find an outfit and pull it together. She'll give you her honest opinion when you try something on. Which is GREAT, because you know she's not just going to try to make a sale. If it isn't flattering, she'll let you know. Which I can't say thank you enough for! I really enjoyed perusing the garb here, and I bought a few things and it wasn't too bad price-wise. :) While it can definitely be harder to buy vintage for curvier women---she does a pretty good job stocking a selection of garb that fits a good swath of sizes.

Sideshow sells vintage and modern clothing, shoes, and accessories for men and women. Everything is…read morearranged by category and then by size. The price tags on each item help to identify the era of the piece. The shop is decorated really cool, I had fun checking out all of the funky stuff in there. I was impressed by the selection of pretty vintage clothes and found a 50's sundress to bring home with me. Pricing was about what you'd find on Etsy - ($20+ for tops, $26-$40ish for dresses) maybe a little steep for a small town but still do-able. As a fellow vintage clothing seller, I really do enjoy supporting other sellers and was happy to do so here. I stumbled upon this shop after going to the old antique shop next door. There's no mention of Sideshow on Yelp or Google Maps so hopefully this review will help other vintage clothing lovers find this shop. The owner's mother was working when I visited and she was a very nice gal, even helping me get a zipper unstuck. Check it out if you're passing through Dolores!

We wandered into this fabulous store for a few minutes while we were waiting on a table for dinner…read more I immediately spotted the exact pair of cowgirl boots I've been wanting. They are just gorgeous and, unfortunately, I failed to take a photo of them to show you (I'm such a terrible Yelper sometimes). It must have been fate because all the boots on the shelves were the only sizes the store had in stock and my size just happened to be sitting right there in front of me. So, I was able to try on my first pair of cowgirl boots! They fit perfectly and, of course, they were completely adorable. I just wasn't ready to pay the $465 price tag so I put them back on the shelf for someone else to discover and cherish. While I was busy being infatuated with boots, Mr. P. was trying on hats from the huge selection of men's and ladies' Western style headwear. He found the perfect hat and it was even on sale but, sadly, they didn't have his size. The friendly and helpful shopkeeper gave him all the information about the hat so he could find it online and order it that way. She said she was just happy to help him find what he wanted, even if he didn't buy it from her store. I thought that was awesome. The store carries lots of Western clothing and jackets, tons of leather belts & belt buckles, and all kinds of leather accessories like wallets, key rings, and leather bracelets. As I was admiring a beautiful leather purse, I was told that all of the leatherwork is done in-house. Wow! Don't miss Appaloosa Trading Co. when you're in the market for some custom leather goods. Even if you walk out the door empty handed, you'll be treated to some amazing service.
