Jeff handled everything and was so organized and had so many suggestions and options for place settings and decorations. They have a caterer which was some of the best food I've ever had at a wedding. With two rooms, we were able to have the ceremony and then a cocktail hour while they set up for dinner and then dinner and dancing for the rest of the night. With such a beautiful backdrop, it made for an incredible evening. The wedding planner, included kept things moving. The servers and bartenders were so friendly and did their jobs well. It made an incredible night even that much better.

The bar was awesome, the food was awesome. This is the perfect spot to host an event or a wedding. Parking was so easy, there is a apt lot, street parking, and also the convention center garage!

Many of the guests were from small rural towns and have never seen 20 police cars in the same place before. I find out later from the Cincinnati Police Department that the bar next door is considered to be the worst bar in the tristate. On top of it all, the self proclaimed owner of the bar dropped the F bomb towards me. If you are even thinking of having an event here... it's not worth it.

A staff member was waiting for guests when they walked in to hand them tickets to validate parking so we could park in the nearby garage for free. The ballroom where the wedding was held had tall windows that let in a lot of light. It felt a bit historic, with large chandeliers, but also enough of an elegantly-appointed blank slate where you could do what you want with decorations and it wouldn't clash. After the ceremony, everyone went up a floor to the balcony that overlooks the ballroom for cocktail hour, while the ballroom was flipped for dinner. The servers were friendly with drinks and hors d'oeuvres, and the staff in the ballroom pulled out the tables, which had been pre-set and waiting on the side of the ballroom. While anyone could see them setting up from the balcony, this did not cause any loud noises or interruptions. And then we headed back down for dinner, which was a mix of chicken and steak, I believe. It was delicious. Overall this venue was perfect for this wedding of less than 100 people -- the setting for a beautiful night.

The prime rib was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The pork loin was tender and the apple chutney was a perfect companion. The dinner service was seamless as well as the setup and clean up. If you're looking for an affordable venue without over the top options then this can't be beat. We would host another party here without question. Bravo, Mill Race. Our experience with The Sanctuary was excellent not only because the space is breathtakingly beautiful, but also because the venue facilitator, Stella, is incredibly hands-on. She was unbelievably helpful during all of the planning stages; pre-event, during and post-event. She truly helped us through it all. During the event and the following few weeks, we received so many compliments on our venue choice. Our guests felt very safe parking and walking in the neighborhood, they enjoyed the ample amount of space The Sanctuary provided, and they enjoyed exploring a new part of Price Hill that they were not formerly familiar with. Our caterer, band, and volunteers also enjoyed the spacious venue. The Sanctuary's kitchen is fully functional, and the band and volunteers had plenty of room to relax when they were not needed during the event. Thank you for such a pleasant experience. We plan to use the venue again next year!

There is a bar in the center of the Center's lobby and there was plenty of space to set up a photobooth too. They have separate space within the grounds for a changing room and the bathroom facilities are large. It's a nice venue to look into if you are planning a wedding or a major event in the heart of downtown Cincinnati.
