They run a clean, well-organized sale with fair prices and discount deeply on the second day. They have various mailing lists to advertise their sales so that their regular customers know and come to buy. as a seller--I was surprised to find that Treasures on Townsend didn't treat me like a customer. Although I hired the firm, paid the firm, and provided the stuff to sell, I felt that the firm really considered their mailing list people and the bank trustee to be their real customers, not me. (After all, that is their return business. I only have so many family members who can die and provide goods for sale.) They set up the estate sale, did a good job advertising the sale, set the prices and sold. Their work made it easy for me. But my heart is troubled that they didn't fully understand the value of some of the pieces and sold them too cheaply. I got very little communication from them, and some resistance to my trying to explain significant pieces--until she got questions about them from potential buyers and realized my info was helpful. Your choices are limited in Midland, and as a seller, you're stuck--you need help to clear things out, and need an independent person to set a price not clouded-by-emotion. Treasures on Townsend did an ok job overall. But just realize that even though you pay the firm, you're not really the customer--then you'll be less disappointed in the experience.This

The couple that bought it were relocating from another state and needed to move in within two weeks. I was the only family member available and within distance to help her. Between being busy at work and living two hours away, I didn't know what we were going to do. A friend of my grandmothers suggested Treasures on Townsend. My grandma and I met with Bernadette and Susan. They were understanding of the situation, They were very professional, friendly, and personable. They took it from there and made the impossible possible. The new owners were able to take possession sooner than they had hoped and my grandma ended up making more money than she thought her stuff was worth. These guys saved the day. I highly recommend them.

Room after room with tons of nooks and crannies to search through. It's a little overwhelming. Much like the service is slightly underwhelming. The workers roaming the aisle were friendly and offered service, the ones behind the counter could barely muster a hello and seemed inconvenienced to have to ring me up. They have a little and a lot of everything. Be sure to pay in the right area the building is roughly split into two businesses. On the one side they have a vinyl honey hole. Two floors of music that is categorized but very tightly packed. It's gets exhausting searching which is grew because now I have to come back. I must have scratched 3 or 4 albums off my wishlists! Some nice bargains free albums when you buy so many reasonable prices.

We ended up going back here since they were the highest. They ordered what she wanted in a ring remount and held onto a very nice chain for her to buy once the ring came in for resetting. Very warm people, very attentive and very accommodating. I wish I had gold to sell!!

The customer she was with looked at us, then smiled back to her. We were helped by a young lady, who was initially nice and helpful. After consulting with the owner about something, she came back and was extremely rude. Apparently the owner thought we were out of earshot when she told her to ignore us. I'm extremely disappointed because my family has spent hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars here. To receive the discriminatory treatment that we did was unacceptable. We walked out without spending a single penny, and don't plan on returning in the future.

There was a small mall in the other part of town during the 1980s (and beyond) with a Kmart . I…read moreremember when they finished building this NEW mall in the early 1990s it killed this smaller mall which I liked. So everyone flocked to this Uber cool mall during the 90s , as did I visiting an arcade in there called Pocket Change. For YEARS I saved all my redemption tickets to get an awesome prize at this arcade. Finally sometime in the late 1990s I brought in my stack of saved tickets to cash in my bonanza . My heart sank as I walked up to Pocket Change to see the neon sign off and the gate closed. It went out of business. And so I have no pity on this now dying mall which killed the older mall...oh, the butter sweet irony. What goes around comes around, it's your turn Bay City Towne Center. No longer the new kid on the block but a hasbeen. And yes, in case you're wondering, I still have those thousands of uncashed Pocket Change game tickets somewhere.

The mall reminds me of the old Hampton mall that looked like a ghost town before it was shut down…read more It also reminds me of the Summit Place in Waterford before it closed. There is very little activity going on in the mall. The one thing they have going for them is that the mall is pretty much full of stores despite the lack of customers. I don't imagine the mall is going to be open in ten years if they don't think of something quick. I think the movie theater will keep it alive for now.
