The kind of boutique every woman swoons over. It's as if they were put there for your own good taste! You will want one of everything they offer. Very inclusive which I love! Curvy, or tiny or skinny or tall! Every woman will find her size! Customer service is as if ur sisters are helping you out! Easy not pushy. Great ideas and even better with your body type and what to bring you to try on! Prices are surprising though. I was shocked at the affordable prices from tops to brand name high end brands and products that you have been looking for. You will find it here at a better price take my word! They nearly had to push me out the door! It's so cozy and relaxing and the vibe is inclusive and welcoming. My favorite shop! You're lucky I don't hold out in my fab finds ladies!! Ferne is a super cute boutique in lovely downtown Bay City. The owners/staff are extremely friendly and community minded. I love that Ferne offers some made in the USA clothing and features great sales and promotions. If I'm buying new clothing, I like to support made in the US brands. Ferne is prominent on social media, which is useful for previewing the goods before shopping. read more

History

Established in 2015.

Ferne Boutique was named after my grandmother, Ferne Bungart. I named the store after her because I wanted to carry on the name Ferne in a positive and empowering way. I opened the boutique in August of 2015 after 7 years of working in the corporate world. I wanted to have a store that fills the void in the Great Lakes Bay Region of few places for women to shop. Growing our community is important to me and I wanted to be able to contribute to the economy and help others out.

Meet the Business Owner: Laura H.

My name is Laura and I am the owner of Ferne Boutique. My goal for the store is to offer contemporary items at affordable prices. I am originally from the Detroit area and have been living in the Great Lakes Bay Region since 2011. Since moving here, I have never really found a place to shop and have always wanted to own my own business. With the combination of my love for shopping and not having many options to shop, I decided to fill the hole myself and open a boutique.
