Hello, I wanted to write a review for Dr. Drew A Shulman as he is the best dentist I have ever gone to besides the Dr. I used since I was a child until he retired. After that I got lucky enough to get referred to Drew A. Shulman!!!! Lucky is putting it mildly. Dr Shulman is the best in what he does and the best in the area that I have come across. Professional, courteous, friendly, and knows what he is doing. He gave me 2 crowns which are perfectly done and look beautiful, he even removed 2 black fillings I had with white ones. His office staff is also courteous and it's obvious that he teaches them well and going there is an all around comfortable, great experience. From the minute you meet the Dr. you can see and tell that he knows what he is doing and does it very well. You cannot go wrong w/ Dr. Drew Shulman !!!!! He knows his stuff from regular dentistry to cosmetic and anything that you might need, he will do it right and w/ courtesy and understanding. The cleanest office and the nicest and most talented staff. You can tell that his team looks up to him and that he teaches them to be the best at what they do as he would accept no less. He is a prize. Do not hesitate to use this Dr. He is the best in every way you can think of. An asset to find. Make an appt. you won't be sorry. This guy knows his stuff and deserves every award he has earned and more. Just a talented and caring dentist who is a perfectionist in his work and his professionalism. Need a dentist ? Do not have dental insurance ? Dr Drew Shulman in Northeast Philadelphia is a GREAT choice. His prices are comparable, and even better in some areas. He does EXCELLENT dental work, so the cash investment made into your mouth, teeth and gums, stand the test of time, and WILL NOT have to be done again, prematurely, due to erroneous work; which you usually discover after the dental work has been done, and money paid. I have been treating with Dr Shulman for about 4 years now. His diagnostic skills, office equipment and technolgy are STELLAR. I know the exact condition of every area of my teeth and gums, and what work needs to be done. Due to financial circumstances, I had to plan and invest in my teeth care; delaying some necessary work, longer than I should have. Actually, even in beyond last minute, waited too long, tooth care needs; Dr Drew Shulman has been non-judgmental, courteous and caring. Instead of rebuff, He gets right in there to do the work, fix whatever needs working on, and offer solutions. I have been working on my mouth restoration over the last few years. Due to past financial restraints, I had to budget and stretch it out, longer than wisdom and teeth physics permits. Dr Drew Shulman never made me feel ashamed or embarressed about the condition of my teeth. Just ALWAYS offering solution, and AMAZING skill and nimble hands, to repair the damage. If you have ever feared that much needed dental visit, or if you ever wondered what a "Perfect Dental VIsit Would Be LIke" ~ visit DR. DREW SHULMAN"! Honestly, your only disappointment will be with YOURSELF once you leave his office, thinking: "Why haven't I been here sooner?" -- FEAR and EMBARASSMENT can be causes of delaying much needed dental visits, but this is an office that doesn't judge or repremand (as my past experiences). Dr. Shulman and his wonderful Staff put you at ease from the get-go! From my cleaning, to a crown decay repair & its temporary replacement and even an extraction.. If you have the time, Dr. Shulman has the time, it can be done. I love the idea that this was not a (3) office visit procedure..everything was completed in one. After several bad dental experiences in the past, the decision to see Dr. Shulman's was made with extreme caution. I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE!!! Dr. Shulman and his excellent staff have been nothing short of wonderful. I've had significant dental work (extraction, crowns, and most recently veneers) and each time I've been pleased with the before and after care and results. For my extraction, I chose to be sedated. I wasn't sure what to expect (first time ever being sedated), but Dr. Shulman and his staff talked me through everything from beginning to end--another pleasant experience. And...imagine receiving a follow-up call from your dentist several hours after leaving his office--one of the many (little) things you can expect and appreciate from Dr. Shulman. I would highly recommend Dr. Shulman and his staff to anyone--especially someone who is apprehensive about dental care.....consummate professionals!! THANK YOU, DR. I am overwhelmed at the professionalism , kindness and compassion shown by every single person in this practice. The gentle care and patience that all have shown. I am extremely fearful of having dental work done. This group of individuals have given me a new chance to have dental work done without fear and or discomfort. I think the last time I was at a dental office I ran out ... very embarrassing but true. Dr Shulman's team dissolved my fears by giving me options to care, showing compassion and patience and most of all believing me! It was an excellent visit, staff is very friendly n professional. The office is very clean. The doctor takes his time n you never feel rushes out. His staff in the back are also very professional n pleasent to talk too. The staff up front are really Good too. When making appointments with you they go the extra mile to make it convenient for every patient. The staff always wear a mask, your health is the most important to them. The work that Dr. Shulman performs is the best I have ever had. I think if you come to use the office n Dr Shulman you will agree. Oh, I must say parking is really gr8 too. Basically you park just feet away from the door n there are no steps to climb. The waiting room is small but very pleasant. Over all the visit to the dentist is no longer scary. After seeing 5 dentists in 4 years, I had given up on oral care. Increasing pain had me searching yet again for a dentist who could manage my severe anxiety and fear of dental procedures. I called at lunch one particularly painful day. The lady on the other end was so nice, knowledgeable and reassuring. She squeezed me in first thing the next morning, took x rays and was prepared to tackle my much needed root canal right away. (Insurance problems on my end prevented it from happening) I have better insurance now and went back for a full exam and cleaning. The entire office explains everything in detail with you, no matter how long it takes. I was able to get nitrous for the cleaning but I didn't even need it. All my fear and anxiety disappeared. The dentist is just as friendly, knowledgeable and thorough as the staff. He called me personally to welcome me as a new patient. The office is one of the cleanest I've seen as well. Dr. Shulman is an incredible dentist. He goes above and beyond to evaluate your teeth, discuss what needs to be done and listen to what your needs are. You will always feel welcomed and comfortable in his office. His staff is very attentive and a great group of people. He is worth every penny because you are getting top of the line treatment and the best of the best quality crowns, dentures, veneers, etc. He clearly wants to provide the best care and wants you to be happy as well as have a beautiful smile that lasts for decades and decades. I have to say that Dr. Shulman wen't beyond the call of duty to help me out. On Sunday I ended up having a big chip on my front tooth. The really bad part was that I had an interview the next day. I ended up calling Dr. Shulmans cell phone that was listed. Not only did he answer the phone but it was at 4:00 AM! He told me he would fit me in first thing Monday morning so I would make my interview. Not only did he fix my tooth but he also took the time to go over a treatment plan with me for the rest of my teeth that are in bad shape. He made it very easy to understand and affordable. Dr. Shulman has been my wife's dentist for years and years. When I began looking for a new dentist, she recommended him to me and the pairing has been phenomenal. Dr. Shulman is as professional as you would expect, as is his staff of wonderful assistants and hygienists. I have fallen asleep getting work done on my mouth. I recently chipped my two front teeth to he point that they needed caps. Dr. Shulman chose the perfect color to match my other teeth and the new teeth look perfect. As always Dr. Shulman and his team, are the best in the field, They know how to make a person feel at ease, make sure, that not only my Dental health is taken care off, but they make sure I am comfortable with my physical problem due to a bad back, they never rush me, they let me have some breaks to strech my legs. I recently went in for a cleaning but my mom and grand-mom have been going here for years, my fiance and I now go there too =] The people are all very friendly and caring and tell you exactly what you need and if they can't help you, they refer you to someone that can (or will) do a better job than them (ex: oral surgeons). I am not a fan of going to the dentist but everything about this office is wonderful. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. The office is clean and comfy! Most importantly, the dentist does great work. I have had my fair share of caps and fillings elsewhere but was never satisfied with the look and feel of previous work until now!
