He responded to my emails, met up with my wife and I, and although he's a professional; he was humble enough to listen to everything we wanted to say, which is extremely important in a vendor. Not only did Rico meet my expectations, he surpassed them. Completely. Here were some of my initial concerns. I knew he could play the Spanish guitar (because I heard him in his videos) but I had no idea if he could play traditional guitar, because I hadn't heard him do so. From the moment they started playing, the dance floor was LIT all night. Their energy was contagious, they had incredible soul, and they truly knew how to groove. What impressed us most was how well they read the crowd and kept the momentum going. The transitions between songs were brilliantly done, making the entire night feel seamless and keeping everyone wanting more. And I have to say--their rendition of "Sweet Caroline" was somehow even better than Neil Diamond's! They brought such an amazing spirit to every song and created an atmosphere that was electric from start to finish. Throughout the evening, guests kept coming up to us saying things like, "We've been to a lot of weddings with live bands, and this is by far the best wedding band we've ever seen." Hearing that over and over again confirmed what we already knew: Traffic Jamm made our wedding night unforgettable. (I hate italo dance music, maybe that's why the .5 star deduction entered my subconscious..hahhaa) But they were able to take on-site requests from the international folks and also made all the kiddos happy with their random bieber/teen beach crap. Everyone was happy and a good time--Alex moderated the flow and mood quite well and the vibe seemed seemless---all good signs of a professional. Really I had no problems. They answered their phone, took the time to answer my questions, were fair with the quotes and set-up/tore-down in appropriate time. They coordinated well with the restaurant owner and I appreciated the communication--it made my job easier. I have no complaints and they will be my first call when I have the need for a DJ again.
