Not only did he take some incredible shots, but he became our official photographer, worked there for years and his style helped define the look and "brand" of the club. I was so proud to produce a gallery show with him, covering the extensive body of work he accomplished in his first year at the club. He finds the angles and captures personality and character like no other. His work gives you a glimpse into the energy and emotion of the event, along with the individual private moments he always seems to be able to find. He is prompt, communicative, and delivers on his promises. 1) for the engagement shoot: he helped us get comfortable, gave us directions, helped lighten the mood with music, and worked with our ideas as well and the props we brought! In the end, we got the vision we wanted along with some beautiful scenic shots that we liked from his portfolio. We used our engagement photo shoot everywhere - I highly recommend doing both since you'll get comfortable with him for the actual wedding too. 2) for the wedding day: he was a real pro- I had couple shots I really wanted which he took care of those. Derek and the photographer at Photo House were both kind and professional. Derek is especially good with children and genuinely loving. I've already recommended some of my friends to go here, and I'll definitely come back again for our family photography needs.
