Out of three different enterprises we contacted, Edgewood Cabinetry were the most professional and prompt in responding to our initial request. Mr. Rafferty was not only extremely cordial and professional, but he was very accommodating to all our questions and individual design considerations. He was also very sensitive to our proposed budget. He seemed to understand the design we had in mind immediately, and worked hard to provide a fitting design that was practical and affordable, yet still had the look that we were looking for. The final product is a beautiful wooden bookcase, "built-in" to the wall, made of stained maple, and embellished with custom decorative panels that looks exactly like we have always dreamt: an elegant, rich wood bookcase from one of those movie mansions! He even took care of little details like making sure the decorative top matched the crown-molding of the rest of the room in a seamless fashion. The final design is gorgeous, the quality of the craftsmanship is flawless, the project timeline was prompt, and the price fit perfectly within our budget. Our dream library come to life, designed and built at an affordable price! We could not be happier. We will definitely be calling on Edgewood Cabinetry for all our future carpentry projects -- including building out the rest of our dream library with more rich wood panelling and bookcases.
