My daughter loved the field hockey coach, but it wasn't the right fit from the coach's perspective and we garnered a lot of respect for her for letting my daughter know rather than just trying to lock her into paying for more clinics like some other coaches we dealt with. In the end, the school wasn't right fit for either kid academically. If it were I would have been happy with their choice...though it is a pretty big number when you look at the tuition and fees.

Our student showed key areas on campus while enthusiastically interjecting his personal stories about his experiences on campus. This is a compact, medium-sized university that seems to have a lot of diversity. Students/staff need a key card to get into the buildings on campus. The buildings are beautiful and there is green space throughout. It was a good first impression.

I left messages and not one person returned my call. This is the most poorly run college in the Philadelphia area. Over my career (I'm still practicing) I was always employed and employers respect Temple. I am proud to be a Temple grad. I even published a paper which is rare for an undergrad. Then there's the ghetto. I haven't been back to campus for years because I no longer live in Philadelphia. But when I was a student back then, the neighborhood was really rough. That's a big downside, unless things have improved. And finally, did I mention that I graduated with no debt because it's a state school and tuition is (was) really manageable. The HVAC course was great our Professor ward is very well know elder statesman of this business…read morehe actually does his instructions wearing a cap and gown ‍ and our entire class would do live service calls with Professor WARD he would wear his cap and gown on service calls I remember one time he got tripped up and fell off the ladder he was out for a few weeks in the hospital but taught via zoom so alll was ok. I believe this program is worth it . All of the students are service managers now with less then two years in the field because of our training. I remember going to Turks on graduation day 15 of us in cap and gowns for our party. Wow even the girls had the pasties resembling our graduation caps. What great memories!!!

We got a full sized cake from here for a friend's birthday. It was only $16.50 so we were expecting a small, mediocre cake. Much to our surprise, the cake was huge (way more than the 5 of us could eat, even over two days!) and delicious. The cake layers were light and airy and the frosting wasn't too sweet. This is my go to place for birthdays.
