Our friends had never been on one so had no idea what to expect. This was by far, the best sunset cruise I have ever been on. The decor, the vibe, the crew...it was all fantastic. There was definitely a PARTY ride...lots of drinking and music. Loud and fun. Nobody got out of hand but every one was having a wonderful time. And since I was wondering beforehand, I will mention that yes, there ARE bathrooms on board. The captain and crew totally made the trip...tip is not included in your price and even if you go thinking that you won't tip at the end, bring money just in case. I believe you'll find that they make it that much more enjoyable. Ps. We scheduled another cruise this year but it was canceled due to weather. They let us know around noon the day of sailing (so 6 hours prior-plenty of time)...and our money was refunded within 10 days. We will try again next year

I had family coming to visit and thought it would be fun to get us out onto a boat. I texted the…read morenumber on the website asking if they could possibly accommodate a two hour ride instead of a three and James was very responsive and helpful. He asked for input about where we wanted to go on the ride but also offered great suggestions. It was a nice balance. The day of the ride was SO much fun. There were six of us and plenty of room on the boat to spread out. One of us has a bit of anxiety about boats and James was very reassuring. The island James took us to was peaceful and beautiful and it was amazing getting to float in the still water nearby. He even collected some shells for my toddler to bring home! James is not a Wilmington native but has been here for a while and has clearly worked hard on knowing the area well. The two hours flew by - we had such a great time. Before we got back I was thinking about when we could rationalize doing it again. Highly, highly recommend booking with Salty Feet. He catered to the needs and dreams of young boys at ever turn, and it was evident he knows the water and channels of the area like the back of his hand. They ask the clients ahead of time what type of action they are looking to experience. They find out your skill level and prepare the proper adventure for your day at sea. They have the experience to find the fish and they keep in mind at all times the safety and well-being of all passengers on board. We are especially grateful for the high energy of both the captain and his first mate. They always were quick to assist with landing the fish, removing the catch and rebating our hooks. It was an amazing adventure, relaxing, and exhilarating excitement both at the same time. And never a fear or sense of danger truly refreshing. The variety of terrain was amazing as we went fast through the salt water flats and slowly maneuvered through tight turns in back water channels near Swansboro. I grew up coming here every Fourth of July and I never saw all the sights we saw today - wonderful way to spend the 4th and a fantastic birthday activity!
