My daughters thought the nearby building was a hotel and went into what they believed was a public restroom. While they were in the women's restroom, a male employee entered the restroom area, which made the situation uncomfortable and confusing. While I was waiting for girls, very friendly member had kindly explained that this was not the beach and courteously directed us to the correct location. We appreciated that employee's help. Unfortunately, employee then approached us in a very confrontational manner, repeatedly yelling that we could not wait for our Uber there and threatening to call the police. Even as we were leaving the area, he continued to raise his voice and treat us as though we had done something wrong, despite the fact that it was an honest mistake. We were visitors unfamiliar with the area and had no intention of trespassing or causing any issues. We were simply trying to find the beach and arrange transportation. The employee's aggressive behavior was unnecessary and made an already confusing situation stressful and upsetting for my family.

I cannot imagine being a member at this country club and having a golf course in this condition. I have seen municipal courses that don't require a tee time or greens fees in better shape! There were bare spots all over the "fairways," there was grass growing over the "sand traps," the "tee boxes" were uneven with sporadic grass. I honestly could not believe it. I am hopeful this course can be saved, because it actually could be nice. But it needs some serious love and maybe a Board that actually cares about their product. I bet membership would increase! This is supposed to be an upscale, members-only club, yet I've received better treatment at hole-in-the-wall dive bars. To be treated with such disregard--especially as guests of a respected member--was embarrassing, frustrating, and completely unacceptable. The worst part? I took the time to write a professional, detailed email to the manager, Gene Miller, outlining exactly what happened. I never received a response. No acknowledgment, no apology, no reassurance that the issue would be addressed. Just silence. If this is how Red Hill Country Club treats guests when they think no one important is watching, I can only imagine how many others have had similar experiences and been brushed off. Between the bartender's behavior and management's complete lack of accountability, it's crystal clear this place survives on reputation alone--not on actual quality of service. Save your money, save your time, and take your business somewhere that values every guest--not just the ones they deem "worth" serving.
