Body First Chiropractors are among these few - they follow the Gonstead Chiropractic principles. Yep... I'd never heard of it either, until a very good friend of mine was singing their praises for greatly reducing her migraines, and I Googled it. They take the time and are trained / experienced in doing a more thorough assessment to enable them to better determine route causes leading to more effective treatment. They look at the body as a whole, connected "machine" and understand how parts of the body which are suffering are affected by other, seemingly unrelated parts of the body. Long blurb... Short story: they do great stuff! I had pain and discomfort for over 4 years. Deep tissue massage, physios and plain old "ignoring it, it'll go away" didn't work. I had disturbed sleep and restricted movement. I'm four visits into a treatment plan with Body First and my pain has all but gone and have a working plan to keep things just dandy.
